There. Now I feel better.

I'm actually just wondering how/when to bring in my Firebending character and whatever NPC fodder he brings along with him. I tried PMing a couple of times to try organizing my plans with him with whatever Chas and Luna have planned with their antagonists but never got a definite response on what was going to happen.

So now I'm just hoping I'll be able to salvage what little was written as a 'flashback' to Day 1 whenever his intro does come up.

And I hadn't been paying attention to Lit due to a lack of threads needing responses lately. So excuuuuuse me, Princess, for not checking in during that hour you were waiting for answers.

But I actually was going to suggest something similar if Chas continued struggling with a Xia post to finish Day 1. I just keep worrying I'm either gonna end up sitting on my third character until it's too late or his people are gonna start looking for Azula by sneaking in the back door while everyone else is running out the front. Figuratively speaking, anyway.

On my end, Longshot's not going to attend the services since I don't see him getting invited when Smellerbee wasn't, and I'll keep quiet with Ryota until Chas is able to do a Xia post for Day 2. Not sure how they'd make it, though.

The way Unseen described and worked the funeral into the thread, it seems most of the non-Fire Nation characters are going to miss out on the services anyway. *stabs Unseen again for the heck of it*

Smellerbee just didn't go because she was sleeping like a rock (and she never once bothered to ask about the funeral...plus I think it's safe to say she's ignorant of the custom of it being hosted so damn early)

Perhaps, but most of them would logically end up sleeping in past it after the day they had, unless otherwise stirred for whatever reason. I doubt Ryota, for example, knows jack about how funeral services are done in the Fire Nation. Same could perhaps be assumed about Xia, unless Chas says otherwise.

So it's still yours and Ty Lee's fault, UM.

Belatedly:

The idea with Kayna and Zhuang was that they'd sneak into the Palace and lay low. We were going to have them maybe steal some Fire Nation garb to blend in better. Eazy suggested this, also, makes me think it's not such a bad idea.

And then they bear witness to Azula's escape. Maybe they even help out, though I'm not sure she'll need the help, but the point is they see her apotheosis and they know at first sight in whom they have believed and continue their pilgrimage in order to stick with her like glue.

While they're following Azula, maybe they'd meet up with Eazy's new dark Firebender and his band of merry men, and they-all'll eventually add their biological and cultural distinctiveness to Azula's.

I dunno.

Probably barking up the wrong forest, I dunno.

But that's what the idea was.

It's possible Sokka could wake up at any time, any time you like.

It seems he's been moved to the same room as Aang and Azula, which I like because it means Katara can watch over both of them at the same time.

(Though I'm not sure, it seems as though Katara's in the room while Ty Lee's caring for Azula's appearance. And it seems as though Toph is asking for Katara at her bedroom... are these in different enough timeframes that Katara can be in her bedroom earlier for Toph and then be in the sickroom later for Ty Lee?

...or is she in one place and not the other?)
