i have tried to put an avatar on my profile, but where it says "do not show avatar" there is a black dot i cannot get rid of it, how do i? as i would like to include an avatar

Welcome noob. You require 100 posts before you're allowed an AV. And incidentally, 1000 before you can have a title where it says virgin.

If you'd like to hurry that along, keep posting in here, and I'll keep responding. Repeated posts by you won't count unless someone else posts alternately (I think).
