Away Game

He knew Ella was next-door from the movements he had heard. He could have gone over and said hi but enough was enough for today. How could he knock on her door pretending that everything is normal? He could not avoid her, there was bound to be countless days where they’ll brush past each other in the kitchen. At one point or another they would meet again but some distance was required for the awkwardness to disappear. Then again, would it ever disappear?

He collapsed emphatically on his bed in a fusion of satisfaction at finally arriving at home and the comfort of his bed. He removed his white summer jacket, followed by the yellow t-shirt and then finally the straight-legged blue jeans. At home he’d watch porn to complement his masturbation but there was no porn here. Well, there was but the university internet was monitored and many students wouldn’t dare take the risk of going on porn sites. As a result, it was all left to the imagination – which Simon preferred anyway as it made his masturbation a lot more intense and less artificial. The image of Ella sitting on a table with her mini-skirt revealing her thigh was at the forefront of his mind as he closed his eyes. He stroked himself slowly at first as he imagined Ella setting herself up, spreading her leads and ready to take him. He envisaged Ella naked in all her glory, begging to be fucked. His hand gripped hard before it slid in an up-and-down motion, the pre-cum only quickening the motion. He eventually came no more than 10 minutes later, discharging a succession of cum loads.” Ohhhhhhhhhhh”, he moaned, only loud for him to hear. He used a tissue to dispose of any hint of the cum. He headed off straight to the bathroom to have a shower and clean himself off thoroughly. He set a towel on a peg at the top of the back of the shower door, before he started to run the water, beginning the process of washing and rewashing.

Dirty. He felt like he had betrayed James. He hadn’t had sex with his girlfriend physically but he had done so mentally at least. Could have been worse, could have had sex with her physically, he comforted his mind. He didn’t usually shower at night, unless he had a football match or football training in the evening. From his experience of having showers in the evening he had found it very difficult to get to sleep, but he wanted to wash this day away. He hated being rejected, even when there was no chance. ‘Rejection’ was simply a word that wasn’t in his vocabulary, like any word associated with the idea of failure. The sizzling water pelted away at his body, keeping his eyes closed as he tried to relax. His hands were covered with soap as he ran them through his body, from the back of his ears down to the rest of his body before washing it all off.

The sun was shining through the half closed curtains when Ella woke up at 7 o‘clock on the next morning. She had climaxed strongly on her glass massager, something she had not done in a while, before the went to sleep. She had been so exhausted that she had not cleaned up afterwards. The white and blue glass stick was still sitting on her nightstand, showing traces of her body fluids. Seeing all this, made Ella fell ashamed of herself, she had been unfaithful to James in her thoughts by having climaxed while thinking of her black neighbour. She tried to push the guild out of her head and got out of bed. Ella was sure that she would feel better after a nice long shower.

The shower was indeed very revitalising, and Ella was happy to wash the smells of smoke and beer out of her hair. When she was about finished she turned the temperature of the water to cold. The ice like water was running down her body washing the last bit of sleepiness out of her body. She grabbed her towel to dried herself off before wrapping her hair in the towel. Next she got her body lotion and covered all of her skin with the creamy white milk. She returned to her bedroom, which actually was the only room she had. It was a mixture of bedroom, living room, and office, and not very spacious. She opened her wardrobe and got some white thong panties out and stepped into them. Next she got a matching bra, a white sleeveless top, a dark blue jeans, and a grey sweater out and got dressed. She had an assignment for her math class to work on today, so she did not plan on dressing up to fancy. The final step in her morning routine was to return back to the bathroom to get her make up done and to dry her hair, which she decided to wear in a pony tail today.

Ella slipped into her silver sequin chucks before the left her room to get a glass of orange juice from the fridge. She was planning on getting some coffee later, but at the moment she just wanted to get some work done. When she walked back to her room she passed the door of Simon‘s room. She listened, but could not hear anything from the inside. Actually Ella would have loved to get a cup of coffee with Simon, but she did not expect that to happen any time soon. She was not sure what had gone so badly wrong yesterday, but that was something she could not change anymore. Ella just hoped, that she and Simon would work out a way to be friends, especially after those fantasies she had enjoyed yesterday night.

Back in her room Ella cleaned up the mess from the night before and went to work on her math problems.

It was 8am when Simon woke up, yawning as he took a look outside the window, then checking his phone to see if had received any phone calls or text messages. It was He stayed in bed for an extra twenty minutes, his eyes wide opened as he engaged in deep thought again. It was very uncharacteristic him to dwell on and over-analyse things but this was a situation in which he hadn’t been in before. He was feeling slightly better today; it was a new day with new opportunities. It was difficult to get up by hiding in his room and wallowing in self-pity wasn’t the solution.

He trotted off to the shower where he repeated the shower routine of last evening. It was twenty or so minutes later when he finally stepped out of the shower and dried himself off. He wrapped a large, red Manchester United towel around his body and tucked a corner inside so he didn’t have to use a second towel while he dried off his hair. Simon brushed his teeth thoroughly and shaved with the towel still wrapped around his waist. He loved shaving; it was a good little job to do in the morning. He then popped back to his room, letting his towel drop before opening the wardrobe and quickly throwing on a clean pair of black boxers, a light yellow jumper and a pair of slim blue jeans, shoving his various important cards and keys into his pocket from the jeans he wore yesterday.

He was apprehensive when he slowly made his way to the kitchen. How awkward would it be if he bumped into Ella? He doubted she was up, he hadn’t heard anything from her room. He grabbed milk from the fridge, a box of cornflakes which was positioned at the top of the kitchen cabinet and a jar of sugar. He poured cornflakes into a bowl, followed by cold milk and added hints of sugar to give it a sweetened flavour. He thought about Ella again as he placed portions of wet cornflakes into his mouth, savouring the taste. By the end of his cereal breakfast, he came to the conclusion that the best thing to do in this scenario would be to pretend that nothing happened, act like everything is normal. “Don’t be silly, I have too much pride,” he thought to himself, changing his mind shortly afterwards. He thought it would be better to wait for a few days and build up his confidence. Maybe that would make the whole situation worse but, for all his confidence, he did not have the guts to go there and look her in the eye. Ella wasn’t the average girl Simon had come across; she had an unfazed aura and common sense to boot. She hadn’t ruled off in spite of everything. In fact, she had suggested it just before she hugged him and kissed him goodbye on the cheek. Still, Simon thought maybe this was because she felt sorry for him, more than anything. He need more reassurance, perhaps if she came and knocked on his door or asked him out for coffee again his confidence would make a full comeback.

Ella had been working on her math assignment for a while, but she could not concentrate like she wanted to. Her thoughts would always drift back to Simon and James, as well as the mixed feelings she was having towards them. James was a nice guy and she really loved him, but she felt that their relationship was missing out on something. And the chat with Simon as well as the thoughts he had put into her mind yesterday had increased her craving for that missing part of her love life.

Fed up with her working pace, Ella got up from the desk and thought about getting a coffee. She had just finished question one out of five and she felt like she deserved some gratification. She got her jacket and her handbag to walk down to the sandwich place. When she walked out of her room Simon was just coming back out of the kitchen. This was the awkward moment Elle would have like to avoid, but she just tried to play it cool and smiled at Simon, although her heart was beating faster. „Hi, morning, how are you? I am on my way to Pret A Manger, still not interested in joining me?“ She did not know why she was bringing this up again, but something in her mind just made her to ask Simon once again.

He was pleased but at the same tense when he bumped into him in the corridor. Her warm smile lessened the tension and the way in which she asked him for a coffee lessened the tension even further. She didn’t pretend like anything awkward had happened between them, she asked him casually, with no hint of awkwardness. She could have easily walked past him, given him a smile and not said anything, but she chose not to. And Simon was glad.

“Hi I’m f-f-fine. I could do with a coffee. I’ll come along and join you.” He smiled back. “Just wait for me here.” He didn’t want to let her in his room yet. It was messy with clothes scattered all over, it wouldn’t have impressed Ella or any woman who cared for hygiene. Once he got back inside, he looked in the mirror, trying to perfect his features, trying hard to hide his smile and maintain his composure. He squeezed a touch of lotion onto the palm of his hand before spreading it all over his face, giving his skin a fresh feel. He added a touch of cologne which he normally used for the daytime events and was usually complimented on how well he smelt. Finally he made his way out, locking the door and smiling at Ella. “Let’s get going!” He said enthusiastically. “Did you sleep well?”

Ella had been able to throw a glance into Simons room when he went to get his coat. The room did look like you would expect from a single guy, who did not expect any female company some time soon. So he really was not in a relationship, which was something that made Ella smile. But why is he still single, is he maybe not interested in girls, or did he just break up with someone? She had to wait for a few minutes before Simon returned. Ella smelled a hint of cologne on him, that he had not worn before he went into his room, and that was making her heart beat faster.

„Yes, I slept pretty well, although I could not sleep right away when I came home. How long did you stay in the pub and how did the game end?“ They walked down the street to the little store and got two sandwiches and coffees. The sat down in the far corner of the store, it was fairly busy but most people just got something to go, thus the seating area was not too crowded. „I am happy that you decided to come along, as I said yesterday this is more fun with someone than alone.“

"I left shortly after you had left, Liverpool won three-nil. James looked pretty wasted."

The awkwardness had disappeared; he was now able to make eye contact with little shame. Much of this was helped because she was sitting directly next to him, instead of opposite him. A hint of shame was still there due to the fantasy thoughts he had about her last night but she didn’t know about that, it was more inner shame, if anything. He observed Ella during the short journey from St Edmund Halls to Pret A Manager. He was impressed by the way she was dressed. She wasn’t dressed to impress, it was fairly simple, but it was a style which suited her – it portrayed what Simon had assumed she about her - her simplicity and intelligence, the grey sweater she had on gave her that extra class and suaveness, her hair being tired back gave a meaningful look and an extra air of confidence, like of a business woman. Simon did not want to compliment her so early. In any case, she was probably one of those girls who were beautiful and they knew it. Telling her she was beautiful would bore her – she has heard it before.

"It's fine but this better not become a regular thing. If I come here too often for coffee with you people will start to suspect that I'm gay...or girly." He smirked. "You'll have to start paying me if this becomes a regular thing." He added, with a cheeky wink.

„Oh, why do you think people might get the idea that you are gay when you are hanging out with me? Do I look that badly?“ Ella did not really mean that question, but she wanted to tease Simon and see his reaction. „Or is it because you are black and I am white?“ She took a small careful sip from her hot coffee. „But if you thing that it might look strange that we pay for our own, we can surely work out a way. Or you just invite me, which i would not mind at all.“

Ella was happy that she and Simon got along well. The tension she had felt between them at the end of their chat the previous night was gone. She was happy that she had run into Simon this morning and that he had finally accepted her offer. The friendship between them might have some chance after all. Ella had spend most of her free time with James, since she was at the university. It was good to have someone else around and to have a new friend, who also looked pretty good on top of that.

„I would not mind at all if this would be more regular, as I said yesterday, I don‘t prefer to be by myself all the time.“ She smiled at Simon and teased: „And if you don‘t want to look gay, maybe you should act more like being my boyfriend from now on.“

“Haha...no...you look okay. But when people see a well-dressed man with a woman not making too much contact...they do wonder.” He wasn’t entirely sure whether she was being serious or not, but either way he didn’t want to over-compliment her. He was sure he had been complimented on her looks almost daily during her life, he didn’t want to be grouped with all the other men by giving her easy compliments. He wondered why she had raised the issue of their races up. Should it even be an issue? He wondered. It made Simon a little insecure inside, but he was comforted by the fact that she had insisted on this coffee meeting. “It’s not strange, I’m just being silly.” Simon felt uncomfortable again, Ella was simply not the type of girl he had been accustomed to. He had to be careful with his jokes, with anything else he said, he had to practice self-control with his flirting, and all this wasn’t helped by the fact that he didn’t really know her that well yet.

All his social gatherings so far had been with coursemates, football team-mates and flatmates. It was good to know someone on a one-to-one basis without the interference of the others and perhaps she would reveal more about herself. “I don’t mind coming with you to these coffee things really.” Simon admitted returning her smile, that assured him that she was teasing, with a warm smile. “However, if you want me to act more like you’re boyfriend...well...then perhaps we should start having sex too.”

Ella had to laugh hard but also blushed. „We have not even made it past the ,first date‘, give me at least a chance live up the three date rule.“ Ella was obviously joking, but in her mind she was not so sure if this really had been a joke or another step away from her faithfulness to James. She thought that she should not make her interest in Simon to obvious, so she added. „But I don‘t want to get you into trouble with James, so you better ask him for his ok before you keep dating me.“ She had to giggle when she imagined Simon asking James for his agreement.

Her coffee was nearly empty, but Ella did not feel like leaving the restaurant at all, she enjoyed herself and Simon‘s company. „I guess before you become my ,boyfriend‘, I should get to know you a bit better. So far I only know that you were single until five minutes ago and that you play football and study geography.“ She was surprised that she did know so little about Simon although she felt such a strong attraction to him. When she had met James for the first time, she had not felt anything in the beginning. The attraction to her boyfriend had grown slowly over time when she had learned more and more about him.

Simon giggled in unison with Ella at her suggestion, pleasantly surprised that she hadn’t taken offence to his idea. It wasn’t the kind of thing he would have said if James was there but Ella continuing the joke was encouraging. He was sure that she didn’t like him in that way but the fact she hadn’t taken offence, also with the pleasure of laughter she displayed, showed that perhaps she had become more comfortable with him and she was open to this type of joke, as long as it isn’t done too often.

How do I tell her more about myself? Simon wondered briefly. Being naturally confident, a lot of the things he said about himself would be considered arrogant, or almost arrogant. “Well, my name is Simon.” He stopped to take a sip of his coffee as he saw Ella roll her eyes. “I do a little bit of running too and like some racket sports like table tennis and badminton. Sports aside, I like to read books and I like to travel. I hope to go travelling this summer.” He told her his hobbies and interests , sticking to generic interests and without going into specifics, enough to keep the conversation flowing. “What about you; what do you like to do?” He asked. “OH....and I like to play games,” he added with a wink.

„Travelling sounds good, I like that too. It is great to see and experience new countries, cultures, people, and cuisines. I think you only can understand the world if you have seen how people live and think in other countries. But sadly travelling is expensive, so that I can not do it as often as I would like to. So my trips so have usually been basic and cheap... like riding busses and trains and camping along the way, something that James is not very much into.“ Ella was happy to hear that she and Simon had a common interest that they could probably talk about for some time, since her knowledge about soccer and limited and she did not want to look stupid to him. „Where would you like to go during the summer? Do you have already any plans?“ She emptied her cup of coffee before she continued to tell Simon a bit more about herself.

„As you might have guessed from the tag on the door of my room, my full name is Ella Simic. Most of the 21 years of my life I spend in Bridport, that is a small city in the south. I love sports, like aerobics, swimming, running, and some tennis. Besides that I enjoy reading a good book, listening to music, and experiencing art quite a bit. I even played some piano when I was a kid, but dropped it when I became sixteen. However I fear that with all those courses and with two boyfriends now I will not have so much time as I used to have for all this stuff.“ She smiled at Simon. „Mmh, what kind of games do you mean? I guess you are not referring to Monopoly.“

When he eventually got into a relationship he’d want to be with a girl like Ella – simple and safe, not materialistic and high maintenance. She appeared to be a girl who had an open mind which was out to explore every corner of the world and try to understand it. “I have rough plans, depends how much I have left as it comes towards the year and if I can find a job. I would like to go to Kenya this summer. That’s where my family’s roots stem from; the last time I went there I was only a kid so I don’t really remember much, only bits here and there. Some of my friends back home also want to go on holiday together so that would be cool. The problem is money!” He inflated his cheeks with air and sighed. “I suppose sometimes it is better to travel domestically.”

He returned her smile. He was impressed that she had played the piano for such a long time. The closest he got to playing an instrument was at school where he signed up to play the violin but became bored after a while. “You play the piano huh? You must be a very dedicated person. I don’t think I could play an instrument for a decade, it definitely takes a lot of dedication and skill, of course!” He praised her.“I like playing a lot of games, but there is one game I’m particularly fond of.”

„Well, I lacked some of the dedication when it came to practice. That was one of the reasons why I did not really progress any further when i was getting older. So I dropped playing the piano when I became more of a burden, however sometimes I think that I gave up too fast and regret that decision.“ Ella looked down onto the table as she talked and her hair fell before her eyes. She pushed it back behind her ears when she looked up at Simon again. „But I still like to listen to classical music and Jazz from time to time. But I don‘t want to bore you to death with that stuff.“ She smiled at him.

„Wow, Kenya, that sounds interesting. I have never been in Africa, I wish I could come with you and your buddies. I bet there is a lot to see in Kenya that we can not imagine. And even more interesting would be so meet and get in touch with people who live down there. If you do one of those standardised tours that you can book, they don‘t give you enough time to experience the country and the people. They keep you away from the real stuff and like to show you just the touristic attractions. Do you have any relatives in Kenya?“ Ella was very interested in Simon‘s travel plans and she imagined how much she would enjoy a trip like that. „But I think you are right, a trip like that will be pretty expensive. How much do you think you will need for a trip like that?“

„So you are looking for a part time job as well? I have been checking the board in the university for the past few days, there are not many offers at the moment. Back at home I was working as a waitress a few evenings in the week, but here you have so many people that are looking for jobs, so i guess it will not be easy to find something.“ Ella had hoped that it would have been easier to find a job at the university, because she did not have a lot of money to spend.

„Speaking of your favourite game. Are you and James making it to the starting formation, and how do you guys like being in the best team of the university?“

“Classical music and jazz? Oh I didn’t have you as the pretentious type!” He mocked her in a middle class English accent. “Why can’t you listen to cool music like heavy metal and hard rock?”

Simon was pleasantly surprised at Ella’s thirst for adventure and to explore more about the people of the countries he visited. It was not something he had assumed about her - she wasn't a geography student. Most people he had met were geographically ignorant and did not know where Kenya was. He’d spend a lot of time explaining the location and they would not understand. In the end he’d have to settle for “Africa”, where Kenya would be grouped with all the other African countries. Africa is a continent, not a country. It was one of Simon’s main pet peeves and made him lose hope in humanity. Ella had given him more than hope in humanity. “I have countless cousins and aunties and uncles in Kenya. I speak to them on the phone sometimes but it would be better to meet them face-to-face and find out more about their day-to-day lives.” He nodded. “I think I would need £700-£1000 to really enjoy the trip and do all the things I really want to do.”

“I am looking for a job, but at the same time I'm also sort of not...I love having free time. I did admin work back at home, which was boring but it was giving me that extra bit of money to spend on useless stuff! I bet you looked really sexy in your waitress uniform and always wore your most customer-friendly smile.” He smirked as he uttered the last couple of words. He was reaching the stage where he was becoming more comfortable with Ella, he didn’t feel uneasy about placing small sexual references in there. Not that he gave it a second thought – after all, he was a natural flirt.

“It’s good to know that you’re the best players at the university, it gives you confidence. He paused, before adding. “Not that I needed anymore confidence,” he admitted. “The pressure can be very intense, everyone wants to be in the first team, everyone who wants to be in the first team will come to watch our games. And if we underperform then we can drop down to the second or third teams but I hope that’ll never happen to us. I’m too good.” He smirked once yet again as the palms of his hand travelled up and down his biceps. "Have you made any first teams or any teams?"

“Oh, don‘t get me wrong. I am also into ‘cool‘ music as you call it. I listen to a wide range of music, with kind or ranges from pop over independent to hard rock. Heavy metal is a bit too much for me, I have some of the classic Guns‘n‘Roses or Metallica on my ipod, but that is kind of the outer limit of my taste.“ Ella had been surprised to hear that Simon was into heavy metal, she had expected that he was into R&P. She felt a bit bad about that now, since it was ignorant to believe that all black people like hip hop and R&B. “I think that my music taste is very dependent on the situation. I like classic music especially when I study and have to concentrate, rock and pop music when I am just chilling, and when I am jogging or in a club I am into dance music.”

Ella had not expected that Simon had still such an extensive family in Kenya and that he was keeping in touch with them. Her own parents had come to the UK from Eastern Europe in the early eighties, but Ella had never met or heard about any family members in their old home. “Wow, it is nice that you have such a good relationship to your family in Kenya. I guess you are really looking forward to meeting them, but £1,000 is quite a lot of money. I definitely would need a job to come up with that kind of money. What kind of stuff do you want to do when you get down there, or are you without a plan, yet?” Ella was playing with her necklace, a small chain with pink stones, while she talked.

“The waitress dress had not been very sexy, to be honest. The place I had worked at is a bigger hotel, which is having quite a few events. They need an extra hand from time to time and the pay was pretty good. Actually I met James there, while I had been working.” Ella was thinking about how James had been with his family at a formal event, he had been bored and had started to chat up the girl behind the bar, that had been herself. And over time one thing let to the other. However, Ella had never made it past the level of a waitress in the eyes of James‘s parents. “Maybe I should try to look for something similar around here, but you are right, the extra free time is nice to have and hard to give up.”

Ella had to smile when Simon admitted that he did not lack confidence. He had an aura of strong confidence around him, and his black hand travelling up his arms to his well build biceps only underlined that feeling in Ella. She was still surprised that Simon was not in a relationship, a guy like that usually did not have to sleep alone, because many girls would be happy to date him. “No, I never really made it into a first team. But I have been one of the best at school, but never in any sports. But honestly I never really tried to get there.” Ella was still caught in her train of thought and could not hold back the question forming in her mind “Why are you still single, Simon?“

“My taste is very eclectic, I’ve been through various phases of music during my life so far, from rap to hard rock, from grunge to heavy metal...currently I’m going through a progressive metal and rock phase...which is fun, and it really seems to fit my personality and what I feel life should be like.” He smiled, looking philosophically into the air and stroking his chin. The way Ella was dressed and her general appearance didn’t give much away in terms of her music taste. If Simon had had to guess her music taste beforehand, he’d have predicted that she was into pop and indie music. At least she didn’t restrict herself to one genre, she had given heavy metal a try and it wasn’t fully to her liking. Fair enough, he thought. “Unfortunately I can’t concentrate with music on at all when I study. I have to study in complete silence, music is just a distraction to me...but it still doesn’t stop me studying with it! But it makes me work very slowly.”

Simon’s eyes were travelling in an automatic rhythm from Ella’s eyes to her necklace. He couldn’t help but analyse her mannerisms, everything she was saying about his family was almost background music. She looked so composed, so assured, so confident, so comfortable in her skin. “I don’t have a strict plan of what I want to do when I get there. I would like to know the family better, as it’s so extensive- I have over 100 cousins and half-cousins and they have kids too...and so on. I most likely won’t see all of them but it would be cool to see the majority...or the important ones at least.” He entwined his fingers and nodded. “How big is your family? How many brothers and sisters do you have?”

Simon’s back hit the palm of the chair as the force of the question took him back. “I’m single because no woman can handle me. No woman is on my level...when i can find her then I’ll have a long, long relationship and we will marry!” He declared - partly proud and partly joking - as he stuck his tongue out. “I don’t think I’m a relationship kind of guy, for now I want to focus on my studies without the extra stress or bother...” He paused to gather his thoughts and avoid going off the rails. He always found the question difficult to answer, he didn’t want to sound like a sleazy guy who couldn’t handle the commitments and responsibilities of being in a relationship, nor did he want to admit her that he wanted to be single so he can have ‘freedom’ to do whatever he wants at uni. “But a bit of company would be nice to have...so if the right girl came along you never know, you can never say never.” He winked, his hands smoothly moved onto Ella’s necklace. “You can stop playing with his,” he whispered, “I’ll do it for you, we don’t want you to get tired now. How long have you been with James for?”

“I have just two older brothers. But that is about everything there is. I don‘t have really any other family than my parents and brothers, that I know of. That is why I envy you a bit for having such a huge family that you might even be able to visit in the near future.” Ella was surprised to hear that Simon had over 100 cousins and half-cousins. “Wow, your family is pretty fertile or very good in bed.”, joked Ella and blushed a bit.

A wild mixture of emotions washed over Ella when Simon tried to explain that the was single. She was pleased to hear that Simon was indeed single and that he was into girls. But then the happiness turned into disappointment when Simon stated that he wanted to focus on his studies and that a girl would only be a distraction and extra stress. Ella could not explain why she felt disappointed, since she was in a relationship and not after a new boyfriend. Nevertheless she reacted strongly to Simons explanations, and she tried hard not to show anything of it to him, but she could not stop playing with her necklace while he talked.

But all of that was nothing compared to what Ella felt next. - ‘But a bit of company would be nice to have...’ - “What... What does he mean by that, ...and why is he winking at me like that?” Ella‘s thoughts were racing through her head and her heart skipped a beat when Simon reached over the table and toke the nervously bouncing necklace from her. The necklace had been a gift from James for their one year anniversary, and Simon taking it into his hands somehow felt like another betrayal for Ella. “Is this just another level of our ‘pretend to be a couple’ game or is he talking about something else? ... Is me making a move onto me, although he know James?” Ella‘s heart was beating fast and her body got excited, while her brain was trying to sort out the situation, which was totally out of Ella‘s control.

After a few second of being speechless, Ella regained control over her emotions and turned her eyes from Simons hand on her necklace back to his face. She had decided to take on his dare and play along for a bit more. “You really are not missing out on confidence, Simon. I have to give you that, no guy has ever told me that no woman could handle him. Maybe you are just to cocky! ... I bet that I could handle you without any problems.”

He was intrigued with her response to the family question, but chose not to pursue it any further. “You shouldn’t envy me...having such a large family comes with its problems!” He complained, shaking his head slowly. “I have such a huge family and only know a few, I feel out of touch with a lot of them...and this distance will only get bigger, especially with me being on a different continent to them and living a different type of lifestyle.“ He took a short glance around the place, hoping James would not walk in, but enjoying the thrill of being caught. He knew he was pushing the boundaries – what if James suddenly walked in? Small chance. What if someone saw them and him playing with her necklace? Decent chance, but getting caught was part of the fun, it was a game. “I can’t speak for my family but I can certainly say that I’m very good in bed...the fertility of my family is a bonus and a skill!” He declared proudly, a cheeky grin beaming once more. “That’s another thing...not many women can handle me in bed neither.”

Simon noticed Ella’s speechlessness and the way her whole atmosphere changed, for once she wasn’t making eye contact and the colour of her face had been transformed into a blood-like colour. Simon didn’t know what to make of it – had his cockiness become too much for him? Or had he stepped over the line? Whatever the case, he enjoyed seeing her so flustered, albeit for a few seconds.

After the seconds had passed by, Ella instantly returned to her normal ways that Simon had already become accustomed to, hitting back with a confident statement of her own. "You can handle me without any problems huh? I’m sure your hands wouldn’t be big enough to...HANDLE...the weapon in my pants.” His thumb caressed her necklace as his voice descended into a whisper again. “Even you, Ella, could never handle me.” He leaned his head slightly further forward. “Never.”

Ella‘s heart was beating fast when Simon continued playing with her necklace. He was leaned towards her and he nearly whispered all the time into her left ear. His breath tickled on the skin on her neck as well as the necklace that was dancing between his dark hands. She noticed in he corner of her eyes that some of the other people sitting in the store were looking at them. She just hoped that no one would recognise her and tell James about her coffee date with Simon. Although she knew that she should not be here and that she was jeopardising her relationship with James, she was staying in her seat and listened to Simon bragging about his sexual abilities and his fertility.

The small blond girl was curious if all of this was just cheap talk of if Simon was really as good as he claimed between the sheets. She knew that he was daring her when he claimed that his manhood would be too big her her hands and that Simon would be too much to handle for her. Nevertheless, her curiosity was strong and she felt drawn towards Simon. Ella had of cause heard about the rumours that people told about black men and their size and abilities as lover, but until now she had just thought that it was cheap and pointless talk. Her eyes dropped to her hands and she thought about how she could wrap her about 6 to 7 inch long hand around James‘s manhood without a lot of problems. She had always thought that James was having all that she needed, but her - by now damp - panties were telling her otherwise. She could not stop herself to imagine how her light skinned and 5‘4 tall body would look under Simons well trained black body and how big me might be.

Ella finally got her wild woolly thought back under control and she looked up into Simons eyes. She felt naughty when she leaned towards him and started whisper into his ear. “Oh, how big can that dangerous weapon in your pants be? And what makes you think that I could not handle a guy like you? And just out of curiosity... what would your dream girl, that you are looking for, look and be like?”

To Simon, Ella now had the demeanour of a woman who was shaken. A woman who was on the brink of arousal, or probably very aroused. A woman who maybe, just maybe wasn’t happy in her relationship. She was asking him questions which indicated she had sexual interest in him. She hadn’t confirmed that she was unhappy but there seemed to be underlying issues there. Then again, Simon also wondered maybe she was only playing along. He understood that some people did get bored in relationships, especially after a relatively long-term one, and flirting with someone or being chased by someone made them feel alive again. It made them feel attractive. It made them feel wanted. It gave them the attention that everyone loves.

“You’ll have to find out how big my weapon is...that’s if I let you, I don’t let girls with boyfriends sleep with me, unless they’re very, very special. And I’m not sure you’re that special.” Simon challenged her, it was a joke, but he wanted to see her reaction. “No woman has been able to handle me...so your chances are very small, nearly impossible.” He released an outburst of laughter momentarily. “She would have Caucasian skin, blue, long brown hair, sky-like eyes and skin so smooth that I can see the reflection of my skin...and a slender body so I can fuck her like a whore if needed be.” He kept quiet for a few moments to think, still making intense eye contact with her, his thumb stroking her necklace very, very faintly. “Personality-wise, she would be emotionally strong and somewhat confident...assured, knows what she wants, has ambitions about life.” He stared at her lips as he licked his. He had only described her roughly, he didn’t describe his dream woman. “What about yourself, sunshine?” He asked, his lips brushing past her ear.

Ella felt a bit of disappointment when Simon challenged her by saying that she was not special. She was not used to being rejected by a guy. Usually she could pick who she wanted and they would forget themselves and everything around them. But Ella did not want to give up yet, and prove to Simon that he might be right about her not being able to handle him. “Oh, you are into slender, white girls with blond hair? Too bad, that I am not special enough for you. Because the last time I looked into the mirror, I looked pretty much like that dream girl of yours.” She smiled at him broadly to show Simon that she looked through his not fully honest answer. And she finally felt again that she was having at least some control over this conversation. “I guess we both know that one of your answers was not totally right...”

She let a few seconds pass before Ella continues. “Well, when it comes to men, I don‘t believe that one guy fits all your desires. There is no Mr. Perfect out there, you just have to find a guy that is meeting most of the things that you are looking for.” She smiled at him and continued in a whispering voice. “Take for example James, he is not perfect, but he is a great guy, who is loving me and who cares about me. However, you might have noticed that there is a cultural gap between us, which is making our relationship hard. But James is always there for me and I really love him.” Ella was not sure if she should continue to tell Simon, a guy she had just met a few days ago and who was still pretty much a stranger, about her deepest desires. But the good feeling in her body that Simon‘s presence gave her made her continue. “But when we are talking about a dream guy, he would be like James on the one hand, but more dominant and demanding on the other hand. Because like you said before. Sometimes a girl just wants to be treated and fucked like a whore.” The last words were spoken so low that Ella feared that her fast and loud beating heart for drown them.

He was enjoying the rapport between them, they had reached a stage where they were reasonably comfortable with each other - as symbolised by their proximity to one another - and their humours finally appeared to be compatible. Simon’s confidence was rising by the second, he was now feeling like his usual self, he wasn’t afraid to be his natural self, his charming ways were starting to shine through, and there were hints of sexual tension. There were no barriers holding him back, he wanted to push her buttons until she succumbed to him or told him to leave him alone in no uncertain terms. He leaned forward once again. “If you think you can handle me...then you’re a very deluded young lady,” he kissed her necklace smoothly “and I didn’t have you down as a deluded young lady, but if you think you can handle me then...” He smirked into her eyes. “Maybe we can come to some sort of arrangement. Maybe.”

Simon nodded to her answer.“I agree with you, I don’t think there is a perfect person out there...I think as you get older, you get less picky.” He had only paraphrased what she said, his mind was elsewhere. “But there’s no need to sugar coat stuff...I am your dream man. It’s a pity you have a boyfriend, but regret having a boyfriend now you have met me and got to know me, huh?” Fucked like a whore. It made Simon wonder further if Ella is that type of woman. Fucked like a whore. Why did she say it in such a low tone? Fucked like a whore. The words continued ringing in Simon’s head. “Are you saying that James doesn’t...,” he paused, his breath roaming over her ear, “screw you hard enough?” He asked with a tone that matched that of Ella’s. It was a question to clarify what she had previously said but also another opportunity to escalate the sexual tension further. He wondered why she had indicated that she wanted more sexually. Surely you told such intimate and personal details to a friend you had trusted over a long period of time? Or was she so unhappy that she couldn’t hold it in any longer?

Ella’s heart war racing and she felt that her panties were soaked by now. There was something about Simon that made her abandon all her view on how a man should behave and treat her. Usually she would have slapped any guy, who claimed that he was her dream man and suggested that she should drop her boyfriend and get fucked by him. But this was different with Simon, no matter what he said, he somehow managed to push another of her buttons and made her drop deeper into his seduction.

The young blond girl knew that if she kept on playing Simon’s game at this pace they would end up in bed together in the next two hours. However, Ella did not want to give Simon the satisfaction by cheating out and proving to him that she could not handle him. She wanted to show Simon that she was not a ‘deluded young lady’ like he had said. No, in her eyes Simon was just so full of himself, that he could not imagine that someone was able to be at his level. Ella was sure that he needed to learn a valuable life lesson and she would teach him it. ... But there was also a part of her body that wanted her to fail and him to be right.

Ella leaned back into her chair and the necklace slipped from Simons grip. She knew that this would break a bit the spell that he had over her. “Well, first of all, I am not a bit less picky about my guys than I was ever before. I am just saying that maybe one guy is not enough for me.” She smiled at Simon teasingly. “James for example is really good in making love to me. But he is respecting me too much and is too well mannered to do anything that might come close to getting screwed hard.” Ella just hoped that Simon would not tell anything of this to James, because she did not want to hurt his feelings. But she had wanted to tease Simon, in order to show him that she was much more to handle than he might have thought on the first glance.

She let her eyes travel over the handsome black man sitting next of her once again. “Well, I need to get back to my math problems, but how about we go out next friday. James is meeting some friends from his school and I have nothing planned. So if you are not scared to show me how you handle a girl, we might do something fun, like going to a club.” Ella tried to play it cool, but inside she was still feeling her heart racing like hell.

She was playing right into her hands, this is what Simon wanted, to challenge her, to make her have to prove herself, to well and truly test her self-control. Simon shivered vaguely as the necklace slipped from his grasp, suddenly he was out of the zone, he regathered himself before slipping back into seductive zone. “Oh...so what you are saying is that you are greedy? Sex-crazed? One isn’t enough eh?” He waved his finger at her, glancing negatively. “Have you told James he should give you a good dicking?”

He was shocked at her revelations, especially about James being too well-mannered and not fully satisfying her in bed, but he didn’t show this physically. James was the captain of the first team of the University, he gave the impression of a natural born-leader, and whenever they had played together down the right-wing thus far he would be directing him on what to do, constantly barking orders at him and his other team-mates. On the outside, he symbolised the concept of the ‘alpha male’ that many men strived to be, but Ella’s revelations said otherwise.

He thought females during their teens were generally wild or at least not ready to settle down and have a long-term relationship. As hypocritical as it was, the number of girls who were willing to offer themselves to him despite being in relationships also made him lose faith in relationships, until when he gets older at least. Ella was also freely offering herself, as if she wasn’t in a long-term relationship. Simon empathised with her to some extent – he would most likely get bored during a long-term relationship too. Of course, Simon had indulged in cheating before but it hadn’t been with the girlfriends of his friends. The idea of cheating with a friend’s girlfriend had appealed but it was only a fantasy, nothing more – Bros before Hoes and all that. James wasn’t a friend per se but he was as close to a friend as he had at this point at university and he had done nothing to irritate him, apart from not fucking Ella hard enough for about 100 years.

She had played right into his hands, she couldn’t resist asking him out clubbing – the fact that she asked him out indicating that she was interested. He now knew it was only a matter of when he conquered her. “Friday is cool, I assure you I will handle you very well...” he whispered, his hand brushing over her right breast, before grasping her breast abruptly, the angle disguising the groping from the rest of the population in the cafe. “I will handle every inch of your white skin; I won’t leave no inch untouched.”
