Baby names...?

naming a baby is huge. it's what they'll be called to from birth to death and after. no suggestions because everyone's tastes are different. but give it alot of thought and as long as it means something to you and comes from the heart, that's what matters. :)

I agree completely.

This sit could be really useful, with the history of almost every name you can think of, what it means. Could be a real pointer to finding the most appropriate name.

Whatever you choose, good luck to all of you, hope everything turns out ok.

Brigid and Morrigan for a girl

Hunter and Dameon for a boy

Oh I love Morrigan!! Really unusual name and not one that would crop up over here.

Personally I like Rowan (girl or boy).

Oh, just thought of another one - my nephew was going to be called Arwen if he was a girl. I think its from Lord of the Rings. Very pretty name.
There are some good websites with baby names - go the Google!

There's a child at my dentist's office whose name is Croix. "Cross" in French: cool name, but no one around here seems to be able to pronounce it. Everyone calls him "croaks".

Some of the name sites allow you to put the meaning in the search engine. YOu might try looking for names that are related to characteristics you'd like your child to have, or something relating to your family. For example, my son's names mean "victory to the people" and "descendant of the challenger" which we thought as appropriate because my husband is an defense attorney.

Morrigan is the Celtic goddess of war and death. Very strong warrior name.

Congrats to dirtylover and Neon for the bundles of joy! :)

The title of one of Nora Roberts's latest books is Morrigan's Gate, Cross or Circle, I can't remember exactly. I haven't read it yet so I can't tell you anymore than that.

I did research on The Morrigan (she can be either one goddess or three) for a fan fiction series I wrote.

Sam & Nirvana's Baby Names?

COME ON FOLKS! Someone must know how to find that darn thead on naming Sam and Nirvana's baby.

I hate to see us repeating all those lists of names over again....or forgetting so many good ones.

I found the thread, but I couldn't make the link so I bumped it.

Always wanted to name a girl Melora but it's not looking like I'll ever get the chance. Marilla and Melinda were alternatives. I also like Sophia, Genevieve, Serena - old fashioned names.

For boys, Christian, Evan, Devon, Robert, Nathaniel. There's just tons.

I really do like the idea of waiting until the baby arrives to decide for positive. But if I were the mother I might have a different feeling about that.
