A fine hello to you all. I hope we are over the weekend now. Time to get back on lit. LOL![]()

Now I can't either...... I'll send you my therapist's bill![]()
Maybe we can get a two for one special discount.... or three for one and send that kook along to a therapist too!Good afternoon and happy tuesday..... raining here in MO. Wish I was home in bed having sex with someone, or even just by myself, while listening to the downpour instead of here at my desk at work bored to tears.

Am I missing something here? Is this a term of endearment in the US that's passed us by here in the UK? Cos it aint doing a whole lot for me![]()
I posted the following on another, similar, thread in hopes of gaining some clarification, but never received a response.
So, since everyone here seems to be informed, I'll try again and hope for better results.
I'm curious about the BBW designation. I've seen it in some other places, and I'm wondering if there are any generally accepted parameters, criteria, or whatever, that define a BBW, and differentiate between a BBW and someone who is, say, grossly obese?
I'm over 6', and have always been attracted to what I'd call a BBW, such as Linda Evans, Nicolette Sheridan or the incredibly delicious showgirls of Vegas, i.e., large, HWP, toned Amazons.
In fairness, I've also dallied with women who, while not truly hwp, were large and firm, and smooth; very strong and healthy looking. For me, "cottage cheese" is a total turnoff. Just the way I'm wired, I suppose.
My fire is lit by female, as opposed to feminine. The natural and, say, earthy, more than the cosmetically contrived, no matter how beautiful the result.
So anyhow, I'd be interested to know your views, since you obviously have preferences of your own, and can, therefore, shed some light on this for me. I know that it's ultimately, perhaps, a matter of perspective, and the eye of the beholder, but as I say, I'm wondering if there's a general standard for the term?
thanx

This is thought provoking for me. I have used the term BBW for many years when referring to myself - and over those years my weight has varied alot. To me the term BBW means a woman who is bigger than a size 12. When society puts women in the media to represent beauty, they most often are a thin, flat chested picture of a woman, such as the ones you see on the runways modeling. In the past few decades, real women with real shapes have emerged - and been called beautiful. Now for instance - I would not call Linda Evans a BBW - she is just tall LOL. Societal standards change, and our society is different than any other countries, where a larger woman is admired and shows prosperity.
I think that BBW means exactly what it says - Big Beautiful Woman - beautiful on the outside, and beautiful on the inside. She may be a woman who weighs 180 pounds and packs it well, or a 600 pound woman who is 6'2". There is no "norm" or standard, in my opinion. Its not only what you look like, its also what you exude and inspire in other - its about self esteem and feeling good about who you are - thats a big part of what makes you beautiful.
All that being said - the term BBW itself is one that helps build self esteem - if a woman puts herself out there as a BBW (especially in a thread such as this which is for ppl who enjoy the plus size women) she is saying she knows who she is and also knows that she will be accepted and not made to feel she is lacking in her own beauty. There are some that prey on women who are BBW's thinking they are desperate for attention and when I see that happen.....well it chaps my hide.
ok rambling now....

You did -- I know the OP didn't necessarily mean to be but my own insecurities made me a bit annoyed with him ... Hard not to be defensive sometimes.
