Ugh, right now I could use to be taken away by a lovely BBW and forget my troubles as she plays with me tenderly.

Long story short, I moderate another forum.
Had a bad run in with another member who was downright furious with my opinion on a topic, and moreso a bunch of posts i had to delete he was part of.
That turned into a HUGE mess where my very moderating and rudeness in the way I expessed my opinion were called into question.
Pretty much an angry mob situation.
The system administrator was PMed about it, and he also is the site owner.
However, after a long day of me defending my actions, he spent an hour and a half ereading through everything that occurred and basically publically posted I did nothing in the wrong and was being attacked in an unjustified manner (pretty much what I told them myself, but I was the bad guy, so... yeah).
That seems to have shut everyone up for now, since he's the site owner and there's no real way to object beyond that, but supposedly, according to him, there's a "laundry list" of complaints on the site's Facebook page chat whatever (I dunno, I don't facebook) that he'll have to tackle tomorrow.

Short story shorter, the site owner basically exonerated me of any wrongdoings despite angry mob.

Not that you are the bad guy.. but he needs to read through it so he can say "i checked out what happened, what John did was fine".... its being a responsible site owner, is all. Still, no fun when that kind of crap happens

That sounds like some of the bullshit I've run into over at a so-called writing board. Angry mobs trying to ruin a good time.

He did do that.
He spent an hour and a half making sure he read evey single thing across multiple threads, and that includes a number wall-of-text angry posts.
He is a good site owner.

At least it's over for now, I was trying my best not to lose my cool.
