Talk, have fun, check in but respect everyone's privacy.

And follow Lit rules. 🧐

Tell a funny story of your time in PA.

Been to Lancaster? How do you say it?
Dutch Wonderland?
Any of the theaters?
Yinzer?
Amish?
German Ground Hog Club?

I haven't bern there.

I've seen the Liberty Bell in old Philly. Had several visits to Lancaster and have been to Gettsyburg several times.

Been to Philly...and lancaster...and sesame street...now as an older marr3ied guy its a weekend getaway to PA...enjoy the wilder side of the wife while at those resorts

Live in Nj but a huge fan of central PA. Appalachia.

Was at Ft Indiantown Gap for years when I was in the reserves and later National Guard after I got into the regular army. Love the area.

Occasionally, my wife and I will do a long weekend in central Pennsylvania, just driving or hiking.

Good friend of mine lives in Pittsburgh, so we’re out that way occasionally too. Beautiful state.

I knew an old punk like you would be into central PA :p

A few good road trip routes in PA.

Route 6 from east to west. Did it last year. Started in NY state.

Scranton is interesting. But once you get towards wellsboro it is amazing. Grand Canyon of PA is totally worth it. Beautiful area.

Another nice road trip is PA Rt 26 that goes north and south. My wife and I took it from the MD border up to the turnpike… maybe 40 miles of twisty and pretty roadway. It goes all the way up past Rt 80, but we have never taken it that far.

One day we’ll probably make a long weekend of it and start at the top and go all the way down to the MD border again.

Just bumping this thread.

A cool night once again.

I hope your week begins well.

Born and raised. Too many funny stories to tell.
Been to Lancaster? How do you say it?
Yes. And just like it sounds
Dutch Wonderland?
Sure
Any of the theaters?
Nope
Nope. Wrong side of the state
Would I be on here if I was but I do hit their markets
German Ground Hog Club?
Nope

Yous (pronounced youz) is the plural of you where I come from and all roads lead there (also, the best pizza in the state)

Blue Ball
Intercourse
And Lititz (which I always pronounce as La-tits

I’d also reccomend - if you have time - to take route 30 across Pa. LIncoln highway.

Beautiful.
