Went to work and found out half the staff and most of management have the stomach virus I suffered from earlier this week.

Before heading home, I received a text from the Better Half that Progeny is down with it as well.

It comes quickly, one minute you'll be fine, then wham, you're friend is the toilet. What's scary is that some people are saying it's a flu, when it's not, it's a virus, nothing you can do to get rid of it.

It also helped that two, um, "personal assistants assigned to me," were there and were will and able to keep me and others hydrated and warm: They volunteered to brave the cold and get tea and coffee for everyone.

I love having their availability do do runs like that. In the past, it was me that would walk the 6 blocks to Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts to get coffee and tea, plus pastries. Now, they hop in the car with the list and money and get it for us.
