Well, it is a big country so that does depend where you live. I am actually close to the Buffalo border and our summers are very hot. Last summer was the exception I went in my pool only 3 times all last summer. It was rather sucky:(

Pfft, we had a perfectly normal summer this year, but I didn't go into our pool once. :rolleyes:

Then again, I did almost die shortly after the 4th of July, so that kind of put a damper on my desire to swim.

Also, being near Buffalo this year just makes me think you're in an even snowier zone. :D
They got burried so bad last week.
 
Yes they did but crazily enough it was coming off the lake in one direction only. I am on the other side of the lake and got nothing.
I felt so bad for those poor folks.

Yeah, back in early July.
Diabetic ketoacitosis (think I spelled that right).
From what I was told, I was in such a bad state when I went to the hospital, people in my condition died 50% of the time.
I was in the hospital for 4 days, which left me rather beat up physically between the disease itself and all the tests and shit.
Both my arms were bruised as shit between sleeping with a blood pressure cuff on and about 7000 needles in my arm to draw blood to test.
It was at least 3 weeks before I physically was back to 100%.

I didn't go into my pool.. wait.. i don't have a pool... rofl. I didn't go into the lake when I went to the lake either. :) We only hope for a green/brown halloween here
