I just can't resist giving everyone an alert on this one... CNBC is promoting a segment on this afternoon's 'On the Money' show (airs from 5 to 6 pm eastern in the US -- sorry not sure if it is available in other parts of the world).

My bad, the broadcast time is between 7 & 8 eastern.

The promo says 'a Dominatrix shares her secrets...' Hmm... Could be interesting.

I think we're defintely talking about the same thing here. I will definitely be watching and providing an update. They've also upgraded their website so after it runs I'll see what is available there.

I have to agree and I'm glad I didn't give up anything important to watch, but hey you get your giggles where you can.

The author went through the Dominant roles you can see in the article rebecca linked. No companies were mentioned as being adaptive or progressive. She did pick some celebrity CEOs to match with the roles -- Carly F (former HP) was the Amazon... Hmmm... Martha S was mentioned and Oprah got could fit two of the roles.

I'll keep an eye open for either video available or a transcript but will agree with mis that there is no great reason to go out of your way for it. Well, at least they didn't trash us on TV for a change...

I hope it was a good day, that the next year is a great one and that all your wishes come true -- although I'm sorry to say there were probably too few candles to get everything you want... That comes when you get like me, so many candles the frosting melts...

I'm just 'sayun'.. someone who wants a spanking might have to wait a long, long time for one with certain kinds of behavior... There are much better ways to get what you want... Now I'm wishing I knew were Sir Winston got some of his icons... they'd be useful here...

I totally agree about playful and that's what I like about Lit. Nothing to formal from either side of the equation. There is so much for all of us to learn in this environment. I can't stand the boards that pretend to be formal when they're really just full of HNGs / faux Doms/subs...

Direct answer to your question... My primary sub and I will celebrate our 21st year of that relationship on July 11 this year -- and it took us 10 years before that to figure out what we really were / are and how to make a relationship work. Without D/s we wouldn't still be together -- not enough communication...

I've seen your thread about re-evaluation and wish you the best. My 'hint' is that you probably need an in-depth communication / review of what you're both thinking ever week for quite some time...

Eventually, every other week might be okay. At 20+ years we've just reached the point where a once a month relationship review is enough.

You're doing the right things. I hope it works out well for A and you...
