How you look is not always who you are. Being cute, being hot, being super sexy is not the entirety of the human being. I have trouble with this because I rely on my looks too heavily. This has started to bother me quite a bit. I feel pretty shallow, because I could really begin to care less how other people look because I'm more interested in what's inside of them. You know how a rather generically cute person can suddenly become a beauty queen because you've gotten to know them? That's what I want. Internal beauty. I'm sick of these shows like "The Swan," and other reality shows that tout external beauty. After getting a preview of the personalities of the people on those shows, I can say that I am not interested in the least in getting to know any of them. I've also met some extremely lovely people only to find that their guts are pretty uninteresting. External attractiveness fades, it also misleads. Okay, done with the soapbox.

This is one of the benefits i have found in getting to know people online via chat well before ever finding out what they look like. The "who" they are comes out in their words. So far, i have been pleasantly suprised every time, as the ladies that I tend to find intriguing and attractive through their words invariably turn out to be attractive physically as well.
Just my 2 cents (and probably overcharging) but thought you two would be interested in hearing from a male point of view on the subject.
