This is one of my favorite pictures! Of course, I cropped out my daughters so I could share it here but it’s one of the best group shots of the three of us. (Usually at least one of us makes a ridiculous facial expression, most often deliberately.)

I was distracted by the AMA, but thought I’d come back to clarify: the curls are natural but my hair is not cooperative so they tend to straighten or get rather messy with time. The strands are too thin to really hold a decent shape for long. I’ve decided to invest in more head scarfs.
I’ve actually started training my hair to facilitate keeping the curl shape. Otherwise it will dry wavy or with a really inconsistent texture.
