I am sitting here listening to the fan hum as it turns. It is a bit off balanced so the chain below it is saying "tink, tink, tink..." in steady hypnotic rhythm. I should really get the ladder and climb up there and fix it. But its hot, and the fan feels nice. Tink, tink, tink... it makes me wonder if a fan could think, think, think....what kind of thoughts would they be? Or would it just be hot air going round and round and round in there...?
OMG, OMG, OMG!
So I can't sleep, and I just saw this thread, and saw how many fabulous people have posted things, and I can't wait to read them all, and...zzzzzzzzzz
the thing i had had done to the other thing has since proven a thing that may have had been more better applied to another, different thing, and here i must disambiguate: the first thing in question being a noun referring to an action and the second a noun in the classic sense of person, place, or thing, as you may well remember from your years of schooling, while the third thing or "thing" as it may be more helpfully referred to is an abstract noun referring to the first thing. the final thing, of course, is nothing more than an entirely separate thing (or "thing", excuse me) altogether, and should not by any means be confused with any subsequent "things" referred to by that description, i.e "thing".
