Be as boring as possible.

my library books are overdue......i only read one of them

I didn't know people still used libraries.

I like to get real books at the library, you know the kinds that don't require charging. (Yes, meaning both free and do not require batteries). I also like to get audio books there so that I can listen to them on my commutes through heavy traffic in the early morning and late afternoons. The library I most frequent offers all sorts of events and workshops too that are kinda neat.

I was excited to find out that I can renew my library books online because I am often late in returning them, which seemed a silly place to spend $. Though, I didn't mind that the $ went to the library because I like it there. It is a nice place to hang out as it is quiet and peaceful and if you are lucky it has that earthy smell of old books.

Librarians are taught to shoosh in library science courses.

I am planning on crushing some "beans" and then pouring hot water through them. I believe it may yield an interesting hot beverage.

I pushed the kitchen tap to the right and kind of upwards a few minutes ago. It yielded... a beverage.

It was raining most of the week but now it has stopped and the sun is coming out. I wonder if it is because it is trash day yet again?

earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, flash floods.............I'm still sleepy

Today is not trash day.

Normally, Friday is trash day. But since Monday was a holiday, everybody's trash day got pushed back a day. Tomorrow will be trash day.

I hate it when this happens. It upsets my biorythms.

My trash is gone. I think the trash people came to get it as I saw the giant trash truck. Maybe it was my cat playing an elaborate hoax on me. That little bastard!

Today is trash day. Finally.

And only six days until next trash day. I can hardly wait.

I just finished filling my weekly vitamin case. Actually, I have 2 cases, so I am all set for 2 weeks.

I just did the same with my weekly pill case with all its little magic potions that are supposed to keep my heart and other organs doing what they're supposed to do. I do mine usually every eight days, because when it's empty I fill it up and set out an eighth dosage of each med and take it that day, so I never know without thinking about it which day I'm going to have to fill it up. I started that when I used to have to cut certain pills in half and, not wanting to have half pills in my bottles and having to search for them the next week (they always end up at the bottom), I'd set up eight days' worth of meds so all the halves were accounted for. Now that I don't have pills that require cutting in half, I could go to a regular day each week to refill the weekly pill reminder case, but that would be normal, and I don't do normal very well.

Yet another reason why I love you so much. I love libraries. For all the reasons you mentioned. With another thrown in. There are times I don't want to be alone, yet I don't want to be with my friends and loved ones either. (?) Settling in at the library provides me the human connection I need without having to talk, or share, just to be in a place with other human beings. I consider myself VERY fortuanate to have one so close to my house. And others within close proximity.

I 'owe' you a pm... it will be headed your way later today. Have some chores to attend to first. But know this... I'm smiling!
