The sadistic characters depicted by Hines, an artist who draws extremes of sexual pain, often in political-torture settings, are all beasts on the inside, but he has one particular "type" he draws frequently that is also physically beastly. The type is a barrel-chested, slightly-to-heavily overweight man, very strong and extremely hirsuite; one of those men who, even if they shaved twice a day, would have a five-o-clock shadow.
