Having lived the entire eighteen years of my life in the bustling New York city, you'd think that I would have picked up some social skills. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I wasn't socially awkward, mind you, and I definitely didn't panic at the thought of conversation. I just didn't really care for most of the people that I had the misfortune of growing up with. I was bitter, I guess, given that I was picked on for most of my teenage years. It wasn't until that I was about sixteen, did my body decide to develop. It really was something, witnesses my modest B cup transform into a massive 34F by the end of high school. I was asked out to the prom by quite a few jocks, but I outright refused not only to their invitation, but to go to the prom of itself. I had barely any friends, if you could even call them that. The only sanctum that I had came from the internet. My blog and Facebook account, oddly enough.
However, this all said, it doesn't mean that I hated attention. I was well aware, around the age of seventeen, that I had a body that men considered utter perfection. It wasn't until then that I purchased creams, make up and tight fitting pieces of clothing - because deep down, I deeply enjoyed the praise and attention of those around me. Not in my personal life. I mean on the internet. There was something about having strangers sending friend requests, despite not knowing me. It was obvious why they sought out my attention. It just felt...good.
My blog didn't really start until high school was near its end. I just started it days before my prom and I gained some popularity weeks afterwards. It was through this that I encountered Brian, my internet boyfriend. It was cute how we spent the night chatting with each other, during my actual prom. Now a few months later, I was finally eighteen and I lived on my own, courtesy of my parents. I was going to college, though I still kept very much to myself. Spending my time on the internet, I multitask-ed with my blog, Facebook and Brian. Though, I'd be lying if I said that I stopped seeking attention merely because he was boyfriend.
There was another man, I guess, in my life. Ben was his name, or at least, that's what I got from Facebook. He was the only other male that I constantly talked to, other than Brian.
It was early in the evening, a day that I had completely free, where I was online and saw that Ben was pretty much the only person worth noting on my contact list. Brian despised him - given the fact that he would post 'objectifying' comments on my profile, like "Sweet ass Natalie.
I was first to start the conversation:
"Hi Ben!
And as I typed that, my eye moved onto the picture that I had posted on Facebook just moments earlier. It wasn't much, well, at least I thought so - It was just me, dress in my tight black top, jeans and heels, leaning over a counter as I read a book. I took the photo myself, and I thought that I looked pretty 'nerdy', which was pretty much my thing. If that didn't get any attention, I'm sure that the cleavage that my top gave out would. It wasn't low cut of anything, but there was enough to show my chest off - especially considering that my top was two sizes too small, and that my twins' size seemed almost exaggerated.
"So what do you think of my photo? Lol." I then added, eager for his reply.
