i'd say yes, just because i have in the past in a strictly professional massage and it was just as good as any of the women that i've gotten massages from, *shrugs* no need to discriminate just because they can drag their boobs over your back and they can't, oh wait, that is a good reason

I have had both men and women massage me. I like both, but tend to like men a little better. Men tend to have stronger upper bodies and can give a deeper massage. Also, mens hands are typically bigger. Women are nice too, the comment about dragging boobs across the back....LOL...yeah they have that advantage.

As for getting turned on during a massage, it has happened, with both men and women massaging me. No biggie in my eyes...it feels good...go with it.

As a Male who is a trained Massage Therapist, this poll is heartening. Legitimate massage has nothing to do with sex, but it is difficult for lots of people to not equate touch with sex. I have had clients in my schools clinic refuse to let me work on them because they were uncomfortable being touched by another man. Its hard not to take that personally.
I have had many men and women work on me, and I would have to agree with the previous poster that men tend to be stronger and can generate more pressure and reach deeper. women tend to have a more relaxing touch, but not always.

I've had massages by both men and women. I prefer women in general, however, it really all depends on how good they are. The best massage I've had is from a little Japanese girl who walks on my back. Works great!

Definitely not always, two of the best masseuses I have ever been to were women, one was a chiropractor as well, a very tall thin women, she really knew her stuff, she didn`t look like she coud hurt anyone, but oh man she could.

The other one was my niece, she used to work for the local football club, and she knew how to calm them down quite quickly, many of the players made some very inappropriate comments, but they only ever did it once.

most pro and leit male massage therapists know guys can get hard during a massage, and it has nothing to do with sex. its part of the job, and they are trained to deal with it, and ignore it. someties it just happens. but in a pro environment, its not a big deal. just enjoy the massage.
