The Hong Kong corporation that allegedly wired funds to Hunter Biden’s business in 2017 was controlled by a Shanghai firm run by members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), some of whom had previously served in the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), according to business documents and congressional reports reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

On June 30, 2017, Shanghai Huaxin Group (Hong Kong) Ltd. wired $10 million to the Delaware-based company CEFC Infrastructure, which then wired $100,000 to Hunter Biden’s “professional corporation,” Owasco P.C., on August 4, 2017, a House Oversight Committee memo revealed Wednesday, alleging the transfers were part of an influence peddling scheme.

However, at the time of the 2017 wire transfer, 100% of Shanghai Huaxin Group (Hong Kong) Ltd.’s shares were held by a company called CEFC Shanghai International Group Ltd., which was run by multiple members of the CCP, according to a 2017 Shanghai stock exchange filing.

New congressional reports that the financial affair embroiling Hunter Biden might reach deeper into the first family, even the president, have pushed a majority of voters to believe that the Bidens likely participated in a pay-for-play scandal.

In the latest Rasmussen Reports survey, voters of all political stripes expressed a belief that the Hunter Biden affair is much bigger than just the first son and that it is likely President Joe Biden traded influence when he was vice president for money.

In data shared with Secrets, Rasmussen’s survey addressed three angles to the reports that Biden family members received overseas financial support, including from China, and that some sort of bribery was at play.

First, 69% said that reports of foreign influence peddling targeting Biden and his family are a serious scandal. That includes 49% of Democrats, 72% of independent voters, and 88% of Republicans.

Considering that Hillary Clinton won by over 4 million votes in California, I'm not sure what the popular vote nationwide of just under 3 million for Clinton over Donald Trump tells us. Trump also won 30 states to Clinton's 20 states. Gerald Ford in 1976 is the only loser in a presidential election to win as many as 27 states.

I voted for Jill Stein in 2016, anyway. What Susan Sarandon said at the time was correct. Clinton was the bigger evil, and Madeleine Albright's talk of a "special place in hell" for women who don't help each other while introducing Hillary Clinton was hilarious. This from the woman who thought the deaths of half a million Iraqi children from US sanctions on Iraq in the 1990s was all worth it? A woman like that thinks she can lecture other women?
