Biden/Harris 2020!

Fox hosts call out Judge Jeanine for predicting ‘something’ will keep Biden off of Democratic ticket

Fox News host Bret Baier pushed back Wednesday on his colleague Judge Jeanine Pirro’s baseless prediction that presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden will not be on the party’s ticket on Election Day.

Pirro made the comments during an appearance on “The Five” following Biden’s first joint appearance with his new running mate Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif.

“The first thought I have is: For some reason, I just have this feeling that Joe Biden isn’t going to be on the ticket,” Pirro baselessly predicted. “I have a sense that something is going to happen before the election, and he’s not even going to be on the ticket. So don’t even ask me if he’s going to make four years.”

Off-camera during Pirro’s remarks, co-host Dana Perino could be heard saying, “Oh, man.”

Faux News team cringed!

Host Chris Wallace pushed back on allegations made by Trump and hosts like Hannity and Tucker Carlson that Harris was too far left to be the vice president.

“She is not far to the left despite what Republicans are going to try to say, ” Wallace said on Wednesday. “I think she is a reasonably safe choice. She was the obvious front-runner. She was the obvious choice. She adds some excitement to the ticket. She’s a statement to African-Americans — and especially to African American women, who are the real solid core of the Democratic Party — that the party does not take them for granted. And so, I think she is a pretty safe choice.”

Commentator Geraldo Rivera praised Harris as a “sensational pick.”
“They say nobody votes for a vice president, except this time they may be,” he said Wednesday. “I strongly advise President Trump not to go after Kamala Harris. Go after Joe Biden . . . This spells trouble for the Republicans, and I think she has strengthened Biden’s hand.”
:)

All of the expectations for Harris are rather surprising given how much she got her ass kicked in the primaries.

I suspect that her failure in the primaries was due to her being a DNC Establishment tool, and the people wanted a progressive anti-Wall St candidate, but the DNC prevailed and used Biden's name recognition to take the lead. And they say Trump Chumps are uneducated!:)

It's not without precedence. Al Gore lost badly in 1988 and was a big plus for the Dem ticket in 1992. I would have to agree that Harris isn't really bringing anything to the table that Biden didn't already have, but the same is true of every other plausible candidate I heard about - they were all from states where he was already heavily favoured, and they all represented constituencies that were overwhelmingly blue in the polls.

She brings wicked attack mode to the pairing. One of such a pairing has to take the role of going for the juggler. In this case, it's best that it not be Biden other than a few well-placed zingers from time to time.

Harris has an absolute actuarial advantage of 6, 19 and 22 years over the other contestants. Given the fact that she is female and thus has 3 to 5 more years potential longevity than the men involved, this is more important than many folk consider. If Biden and or Trump died, that would not be extraordinary.

And if Mike Pence died - would anyone notice? :)

Only Karen, as she could stop being someone's beard. I mean, seriously, does anyone not think that Mike Pence is a huge closet case?

I still prefer Tulsi Gabbard or Nina Turner, but both have anti-war leanings (which is why I prefer them) and the military industrial complex would never allow that. I have misgivings over the prosecutorial record of Kamala Harris, but she's still better than Susan Rice, an actual war criminal responsible in large part for the illegal Libya and Syrian wars.
