And you! :) Can you believe it took me this long to discover there's a GLBT forum around here? I guess I haven't browsed the forum lists in ... oh, about a year. Lots of cool things around here though, that's for sure.
This forum hasn't been around too long - just a few months. Glad you found it!

Steering the discussion back on topic, though -

I think my quibble (and Netzach's?) with the word "bisexual" is a linguistic one. Bi means two, period. Society doesn't seem to have a term for those of us attracted to people of any gender, and that's because society is still stuck with a binary gender system. There are words like omnisexual and pansexual, but those aren't widely understood. That means we get lumped back in with bisexuals.

Or something like that. It's kind of early in the day. :)

I have been in exclusive relationships with both sexes. At one point, I had a very strong emotional attachment with a chick for a number of months. I'm now married to a wonderful man I'd been engaged to for over two years, and our relationship is very intense as well. I still have a strong attraction for women though. If I were to ever be single again, it is very possible that my next relationship could be with a woman.

The term "bisexual" has the definition of "a person who is sexually attracted to both sexes". Attraction and attachment are different things. My relationships with chicks in some cases has gone well beyond just a sexual attraction. But, I'm not a lesbian. So biamourous is probably the best "description" of me. But I'm also bisexual.

Yeah, that sounds like how I feel about it as well. I suppose it depends on whether people associate sexuality with relationships or just sex. I mean, if bisexual means I would have sex with a woman or a man, then yeah, I guess I can call myself bisexual with no problem. But I tend to think of sexuality as... more of an "attitude" in a way, if that makes sense. It's part of who I am, not simply what I do.

And if the meaning is more about relationships, I really don't like to label myself as bisexual, because gender has nothing to do with it. If I feel attracted to a person, it's because of who they are, not what they are.

Okay, enough rambling from me. ;) Back to work. Yeehaw.

Bisexuality

To me the term bisexual means I like to have sex with a male or
a female,I have been happily married to my wife for 22 years.
And this summer we found out I am bisexual and she is not.
We enjoy sex with another guy together, but so far that has been
it,we are both looking for something more.A relationship of sorts
mfm husband, wife and our lover who is also our friend someone
we both trust and can talk to and spend time with alltogether.
I have no thoughts of sex with another women, just my wife and
another guy,I have had tons of offers to get together with other
guys without my wife, but that is not what I am looking for.So
far it has been a time of learning for the the both of us.
Will we ever find this mystery person, the only way to find out
is to keep looking!
