Black Hawk's Treasure

Captain Ash

Standing at the helm, scope in hand she chewed on her lip for a moment. Storms were easily handled, Thomas was not.

"Damn."

Handing the scope off she sent a young man up to the nest to watch, "But return to the safety of the deck before the storm arrives." At his nod she moved off, sailor after sailor, giving orders quietly.

"Make sure to secure all sails before that storm hits."

"Have buckets of water readied incase."

She moved along the deck and finally down to Salty. "Be primed and readied for Thomas and check the guns before the storm, I don't want anyone mauled over. Thanks." She patted Salty on the shoulder and moved back up to watch both the ship and the storm.

"Hoist our colours Boys! We might have a fight on our hands!" Her mind wanderred a little, thinking perhaps she'd send Vallen after the map since he knows right where it is... and he has no other route home.. But then again, knowing that coward he'd rather be stranded. Bad idea, "Preach?" She called out, turning to look around for the man. He would have solid advice...

He sighed, and turned, barking out orders when he got close enough to the cannons. Getting ready for a storm and a battle, and trying to assign the men to the jobs they'd be best at, although it was only a guess until battle started. Some people just lost all nerve when in battle.

He sighed. A battle, a storm, it should all be very exciting, but he couldn't get that usual high he had during these occasions. It had to be her. Damnit. That was the closest to getting laid he'd been in months, and he'd gotten nothing. And the only women he really knew on this ship was Captain Ash, Sally, and Doctor Mia.

The Captain was his commander, so he couldn't do anything about that. Sally had always been, and would always be in his eyes, an annoying witch with too flip a mouth, and Mia,....he shook his head. He'd just never been able to get along with that woman for some reason.

He rubbed his thumb along his scar, barking orders at the men and watching them like a hawk. She was a fine lookin' lass, though. Still, it seemed they couldn't have a conversation without somehow getting on each others bad side. Oh well. She never seemed all that interested, so who cares?

But still, it wasn't a comfortable situation. His lust had been awakened, and now it stirred his anger, not willing to leave without making Dan's life hell for a few days, he grumbled to himself. Live was never easy.

Ash

Leaning over the railing, she watched the ocean for signs. The water was starting to sway and roll, but it wasn't pitching just yet.

"Perhaps this storm isn't as threatening as it looks? Or it can be a sly devil and worsen later..." She uprighted herself and stared at the clouds ahead.

The map was through there... Now did she risk everything for a piece of paper? Was it even a risk? It didn't seem so?

"We'll stay the course, Preach. If it begins to blow badly, we'll ride it out." Her fingers caressed the railing before patting it a little, "I trust this baby to keep us a'float." A sparkle was shining in her eyes, excitement was just around the bend, and if she knew Thomas well enough, she'd guess they were in no real danger from him. But then again, she thought she knew him well enough once to love him. That stung to remember and she pushed it aside with great distaste.

"They're riding out further than we are, the Island according to this map is on our side.. The ship Vallen spoke of, I don't know. I haven't decided what to do just yet.... Let's prepare for the storm just incase it's worse than it looks."

Mia

Winding around on deck, there was little for a doctor to do uptop. The sailors had it all handled quite nicely, left me to my own resources for a bit.

Entering my quarters, I made quick work of shedding some useless clothing and tying up my hair to keep it restrained. Barefoot and weightless now I hurried back up above to ride out the storm. This wildness, the untamed brewing of the sea seemed to call to me. It made my blood soar and that feeling of being alive with total freedom welled up inside. Perhaps this time I wouldn't perch a'top on the mast but keep both feet on deck.. perhaps.. but I would be up there to enjoy the spray and the light show.

Passing the sailor again, I had to stop and catch a glance.. Only this time I wasn't as interested. "Still a damned waste..."

"Whut?" He turned his head to look me over, not in a flattering way either.

"Never you mind..." Hauntingly tossing my head, I strolled back up on deck with little next to nothing on and alot showing. This too made me grin, those that dared would glance but none would stare and it was only a matter of time before the new cap'n said something about proper dress. It was laughable, and to make matters worse, I unbutton the front of my shirt further. Paler flesh came into view, the breeze puffing out my clothing gave me chills and an even broader grin.

"Aye, I love the sea! Especially when she's angry.." Securing the anchor better, I climbed ontop of the wheel and sat, watching and waiting yet again. Maybe we'd get to come to blows with the other ship? I sure as hell love to sink my claws into Thomas's ass...

Their history be damned, I needed a real man around, not these sniveling babies.

"MIA!" Turning I spotted the cap'n.

"Aye Cap'n?"

"Watch your footing, and see if my Master Gunner needs any assistance!" Was she baby sitting me? That was laughable..

"Aye cap'n." Giving her a smart salute, I lingered ontop a little longer, then pushed off to find my way down to Dan's little hide-away. Oh he was going to looooove this... Me being ordered to assist him.. I giggled softly as I walked along.

"OH DANNY BOY!!!?" I called as I stepped inside the gunner's domain.

"The pipes, the pipes are calling,...." His eyes opened, and he glanced over at Mia, yelling absently at a man about the proper amounts of gunpowder. He looked her over. Such a pretty little thing she was.

"Aye, Mia? Come down 'ere ta distract me men at a time they're needed, that is, if any a this bunch can be called men, or are ya here fer some other reason?"

He grinned, and stretched, dropping his thumb from his scar as he moved over to her. "So, how much ya wanna bet if that storm amounts ta anythin' half a these landlubbers'll be heaving lunch overboard?"

Mia

Now here was a man she could flirt with.. My smile instantly spread even further as he approached me.

"Now now Danny, don't flatter yourself.." I laughed again and peeked around his bulking form. "Would I do something like tease those poor.. helpless... sailors?" My fingers toyed with his shirt front a moment before grinning up at him.

"The captain sent me to 'assist' you in ...anyway you might need.. I am good with guns ya know." A few heads turned and stared at my shirt. I knew they could see the swells of my breasts, I intentionally unbuttoned the shirt for that very reason.

"They wont hold their own for long.. It takes awhile to get your sea legs..." I ignored the gawking men and pressed my back against the door. Dan sure did take up a shitload of space in here! The room seemed to shrink mightily as he stood before me. My eyes traveled his frame from head to toe and back to his eyes. He had a hard look around them, his mouth set as well. What was he thinking about? I bet I could rub more of his nerves raw before I left this room.

"What's wrong Danny?" I gave him an innocent little smile and tilted my head back.

He grinned, and looked down at her breasts a minute before returning his gaze to her face and answering. "I was jus' thinkin' about all the ways I could be assisted by a bonnie lass like yerself. Jus' a moment."

He turned around, glaring at the men. "What, ya never seen a woman before? Back ta work, ya landlubbers!" He shouted at the crew, and they hopped to their jobs. He grinned. They might work out, if, that is, they could manage to work the cannons.

He turned back to Mia, and smiled. "Sailors? These? Tha's an insult ta tha trade, Mia. O' course, the old crew was abou' as loyal as tha wind, so I guess we'll have ta make do. So, 'ere ta assist me, are ya? Well, can't very well put ya ta work, as I doubt ya'd take orders from me and tha fools probably blow themselves up, starin' at yer,....well, I guess ya can help keep these dogs in line, or, if ya'd prefer, ya could stand arou' and look pretty until they undoubtedly try to kill themselves, as I will need a few of 'em wit' most their fingers if we're ever gonna win a battle."

Mia

"Oooooo there is something about a man who knows how to handle his gun.." Smiling sweetly, I pushed off from the wall and stood inches from Dan's body. "Perhaps you should.. umm. Show me how you load yours?" Knowing a storm was coming, I pointed towards the corner over Dan's shoulder, "Someone should strap down their balls before we have broken limbs.. There is a storm coming.." The innudeno was heavy and for once this morning, I was having a pleasant time.

Moving around Dan was a bit hard, but I managed with quite a bit of rubbing against him as I wiggled around. "Nice.. very nice.." My fingers settled on the barrel of the cannon.

"So show me Danny.. How do I load your gun?" Wicked I may be, but this was amusing me.. I wondered too how long it would take Daniel to catch onto my little game?

'Salty Dan' Moore

He threw his head back, and laughed, sending the men on that cannon away, stepping up and looking at the cannon He smiled, actually enjoying himself. She wanted to flirt, huh?

"A gun, lass? Naw, this is a cannon, it's much too big to be called a 'gun'. An' it's really simple. All ya need is a soft, careful hand, a careful manipulate of the balls, and a knowledge of how much it can take before it goes off."

He laughed, and gave he a wink as he went around preparing the weapon.

Mia

"Ah, I see.. Yes, I can see where you might want clarification on this... So I take it you like having a bigger 'gun'? oops, cannon." Flashing a smile, I placed my hip against the weapon and watched him closely.

Each movement showed off more and more of his muscled frame. There was a bennefit to this gunner position... He was proof of that.

"You seem to know how to handle your cannon, Danny.. But the real question is.. Can you handle women as easily as this?" I patted the barrel and continued to look as innocent as possible... Which was a humorous thought as well.

Me? Innocent? It is too laugh..

Turning around, I bent over and looked out the small hole. "I hope you have perfect aim with this.. there isn't much room to adjust."

'Salty Dan' Moore

He chuckled. "It ain't whether I like it or not, it's wha' I 'ave, an' what I gots ta work wit'. As fer women, c'mon Mia, how long 'ave you known me? I know the cannons of this ship like they were part o' meself, but when i' comes ta women, I can barely tell which ways up, although I can usually tell which bits I like."

He smiled at her, and his gaze roamed down to her breasts again, and to her ass as she looked out. "Aye, it's a little tight, but I manage ta git it. I've got great aim, lass. The real difficulty if gettin' the shot in the first place."

He smiled at her, and stretched. "Well, Mia, as much as I simply love tha direction of our conversation, I don' think tha Capt'n would be too happy if we sat 'ere why they try ta work. Wanna leave them to it and continue this elewhere, or get ta work and leave this fer later?"

Krysta ~

"Krysta I hate to disturb, but we need your help up here."

The crewman falter as he asked for help, Thomas finished speaking with me and let me to my task. He had such a thoughtful look, one of cautious and worry. I knew there wasn't to much worry of the storm, the worry came from Ash. She tried to damage his ship in drunkard anger, who knows what she'll do in sobber anger and full attention of her crew.

"Yes, yes i'm coming! Get those cannons ready, we may have a dealing to be had withing the hours. Plus the storm, must be prepared at all cost."

There was sail stuck, not releasing so we can pull it in. Within moments I climbed up the ropes, onto the crows nest, pulling on the rope that was near so I can release the ropes that were stuck. Down below they were pulling it in and tieing it down tightly. The men were always afraid to climb up here when there was storm. I loved it, it was so invigorating.

"DAMN IT! I SAID GET THOSE CANNONS READY!"
"By the gods, there might as well not be a crew, making me do all the work."
Climbed back down to help secure the cannons and other needed things. Making sure we had enough for a battle. Hopefully this won't be to bad, it'll be hell to have a fight when entering a storm. From the looks of those clouds, that storm would win the war.

"Let's hope we'll pass it before she catches up."

Muttered to myself, didn't care of anyone heard. Stood there next to my cannon, looking out to the angered sea. Luckily she was still out of normal sight, I knew she was approaching. Within a little over an hours approach she should be at least within normal veiw, depending on this storm. We were still a good pace a head of her, and still a decent speed.

Thomas looked back at the Mystique, as it began to ride the bigger waves now. It didn't look very big from his perseption, but it seemed big enough behind them.
How did she know? Did she know all along? Had she followed him? No, she would have shown herself a long time ago if she had been.
"Curiousity killed the cat," He called. Unsure just what to do. He took out his small telescope, looking back at the Mystique.
She took her sails down. She was going to ride out the storm.
"Satisfaction brought him back," A smile curved on his face, as a plan began to form in his mind.
He had no problems with the Mystique in open ocean. His ship was smaller and lighter. It could beat any ship out there, and he had done it many times with Ash's father. This wasn't the open ocean though. In fact, this was probably the worst weather he could have. His ship would be tossed around in the storm, while hers would just come steadily and steadily closer.
She would fight him. Without so much as a thought, she'd blow him out of the water. And that he was scared of. Mystique was bigger, but she had firepower that was unquestionable. He couldn't compete with her. It would take the luck of Davey Jones himself to get him through a dogfight with that ship.
Ash was dangerous, behind him and gaining.
Damnit.
"All hands on deck. Everyone, I need everyone NOW!"
He called out, going to the helm once more. In this weather, with current conditions he couldn't beat the ship.
He couldn't ride the storm.
"There are three ways to live through a storm, my mates. One is to anchor and wait for it to pass. We are already too far in for that," as he spoke, a wave crashed against the side, tilting the entire ship first one way, then the other. Thomas held onto the railing.
"The second is to ride the storm. You put down all the sails and hope for the best. Make sure the ship doesn't take any waves to the side, and you should be ok."
The wind warped all around them, huge gusts that seemed to be pushing and pulling on them. He could feel it, and it would save them all.
"The last way is to run the storm. You put up full sail, and go balls to the wall inside the black beauty herself. It's a crazy way to go, my mates, but sometimes, it's the only way."
He called up to the men, and of course his lovely Krysta pulling up the sails.
"Bring them back down. NOW! I want full sails. Untackle the rops, and keep the mison mast steady. If it lapses, it could snap off like a twig in this wind. I'm running the storm ladies and gentleman. I'm finding that map first!"
Apart from the helm, lightening flashed all around, and it looked bitter in Thomas' eyes. He looked like a mad man, and as he laughed, it only furthered the cause. Truth be told, he thought it was crazy himself, but the Bilge Water was his baby.
If anything could get through this alive, it would be his baby.
"I'm getting that map," In front of him, the ship rolled on another wave, as wind continued to pick up.

Captain Ash

She stood with her scope, watching and waiting. Her head shaking negatively now and then.

"He's lost his bloomin' mind!" She cursed under her breath as she watched his sails raise again into this mess. "Well... might be good thinkin' but it's gonna put you in target range Thomas.." She grimaced a little, his ship was going to take a beating like never before. Why the hell should she care anyways?! Damned men and their deceit! They are worse than women!

"Buckle down boys! This storms gonna be a wild one!" She called out to the crew on deck, wrapping her foot three times on the floor, she let Salty know to close those cannon ports. Some things her father did came back little by little, most she opted not to use but signals were alright.

"I am going down to speak to Vallen one last time Charles.. Please see to runnin' things aloft." She moved past him and down the stairs. Heading to another set that took her down to the hold. She needed to check for water intake anyway, might as well do that before she terrorized Vallen further. Her face was grim but inside she was smiling slightly. Thomas might think he out smarted her, but she was ready for anything from that snake. Now to see a worm about his boss...

Mia

Lifting my head, I heard the raps on the top deck and smirked, "She does remember something.. Close those ports Boys!" She barked the order out loud enough to make anyone proud and winked at Daniel, "Shall we go...explore a little?" She moved close enough her body brushed suggestively against his with each sway of the ship.

"Let's go on deck, we have time." She waited for him to turn and lead the way since his bulk took up what space there was.

Vallen laid on his stomache, tears streaming from his eyes. The constant pain had not let up since he had stayed down here. What guards they had put on him not left, going aboard to take care of the storm.
Vallen knew Ash was an idiot to begin with. It's a boat, even if he wasn't locked up, just where in the hell was he going to go anyway?
Those bars were more to keep the old crew out then to keep him in. He didn't want anyone to touch him, to hurt him anymore. He could stay here and be a happy little camper, that would be all right with him.
Vallen had to hold onto the bed, crouped up to the side of the hull. As the waves crashed into the ship, they threatened to buck him off. He could just imagine his back getting on that dirty coarse floor, and pain and anguish that would follow after.
He held on for dear life, hoping that he could just stay here and not have to endure any more pain.

Krysta ~

I looke in his direction cautiously and confused. I knew what he meant and we have don't one before. It was close then and it's going to be close again. Looked around at the ropes, one was still tangled above, I had to do some more climbing. Reaching for the rope and getting it unstuck, wrapped it around my hand and foot, using my weight to pull the sail back open, landing on the deck. Made sure the rope was tied securly, it was getting dangerous for me to do much more climbing, but there shouldn't be any other need for it.

Managed to make my way after giving more orders to the crew, to stand next to Thomas;

"I have more than enough faith and trust in you and this ship over this storm. But, this isn't the best of times to battle, this can barely handle the wave at this speed, the blast of the cannons will not make this an easy trip."

I knew he knew it, I was mostly speaking to myself, or at least looking for reassurance of how this turn out is going to be. Those cannons were strong, this storm is going to weaken us all the more if Ash decides to go into battle. Wanted to reach out for Thomas, not sure why, but felt the need to. Yet, I didn't. Not in front of the crew like this. Instead, stood by his side, giving out orders when needed.

Captain Ash

She unlocked the door and stepped inside the darker cell.

"VALLEN!" She barked at him in anger, she loathed this man beyond all words. Nothing could describe the hate she held for him in her heart. "Get your lazy ass up!" She kicked the bunk with the tip of her boot.

"Reginald.. See that he doesn't do anything remotely threatening towards me.. If he does, shoot him in the leg." She grinned as Vallen's eyes widened a little.

"Yes, you'll live through that too. Now tell me where this ship is exactly." She folded her arms and waited for him to respond.

He gasped a little and wheezed as he sat up.

"And where IN the ship Vallen..." She hated waiting but she was willing to do so to get an answer out of him.

"Answer nicely and help a little and I might over look your betrayal and set you free... alive." She bargained with him, maybe it was a mistake but she was willing to try. Besides, killing someone wasn't her thing.

'Salty Dan' Moore

He barked some orders, and glanced at Mia before nodding and moving out, heading above deck. He ran into the man he'd stationed at the cannons on the other side of the ship, and gave his orders to give to the men. Mostly preperation for the storm, but one should always be prepared. After he was done with that, he moved above deck, and looked at Mia with a grin.

"Grand weather, ain't it. Nothin' like a storm ta star' a trip off decent."

Mia

"Nothing like a wet ragin' sea to get one in the mood.... for....." Giving him a little smile, I moved around the side of a stack of barrels and watched the rippling ocean.

"This storms going to be a wild one.. We'll get nice and wet." She closed her eyes and inhailed the salty air. Her spirits were lifting further, she was feeling the moment and Dan right behind her. She backed up a bit and pressed her bottom right into his groin.

"So tell me Danny.. Know what to do with a woman? Or you just pretending?" She challenged.

He moved up behind her, his eyes scanning the sky as the storm moved towards them. It always captured him, somehow, being on a ship in a storm. In all the years he'd been on a ship, nothing ever matched the exhilaration of a storm at sea, the elements of nature battering at the little things amid the wind and waves that kept you from the sea floor.

His hands moved out, capturing her hips. He smiled, holding her there, lightly against him, smelling the salty air of the sea. He grinned. "Well, now, nothin' wron' wit' gettin' a little wet as long as ya enjoys yerself, eh? As for wha' ta do wit' a woman,...it's been a mighty long time, Mia. Perhaps I need to be reminded, eh?"

He pulled her against himself, letting her feel his excitement. "What do ya think?"

Mia

Moaning softly, the wind ripped it away before it could reach his ears. He was playing with fire, I wondered briefly if he knew this? Smiling I uprighted myself but stayed where I was.

"How much reminding do you need Danny?" He seemed to know what he was doing currently.

"Preach will tan our hides if we're caught up here like this... Perhaps we should go below decks? That way I can spend the rest of the day 'reminding' you?" turning around, letting his hands remain on my body, until I faced him. True they were hidden but with a ship this size and it's crew, they'd be caught.. not that the idea didn't turn me on all the more. "Or do you like the idea of being watched?" My arms twined up around his shoulders, my fingers twirling into the soft hair along his neck. Fingers threading into his hair, I tugged a little on it. "What say you?"

'Salty Dan' Moore

He smiled, and moved his arms around her, pulling her tight against himself. His eyes looked down at her face, and what was exposed of her breasts. He licked his lips. He didn't worry much about Preacher, or any other man aboard ship. Of course, who knew what the Captain would do if she should happen to know what they were up to?

He didn't know, and the only thought that scared him was losing the place he knew as home. "Mmm, desicions, desicions,...Well, I could use a full day of reminding, although some of it is starting to come back to me. Whatever you want, Mia. I'm afraid that you're much to enticing for me to start thinking now."

Mia

A smile lit in my eyes as He leered down at my breasts. His accent slipped and the british boy came through. It had been awhile since i heard him speak so clearly, it did something to my insides and made me knees a little weak.

"Let's take this private.. my chambers. Doc Mia needs to do a check-up on ya." Taking his hand, I tugged him behind me and quickly down the stairs. My room being one of the first past the galley, I yanked him inside behind me and shut the door.

"This.. Is much much better. Now where were we? I'd be interested in you showing me what you remember.." Flashing a teasing smile I peeled off my shirt and tossed it into the corner. Standing in boots and breeches, I let his eyes scan over me from head to toe. Untying my hair, I stepped towards him and dropped the tie.

'Salty Dan' Moore

He followed her along, wondering at this day. And here he'd thought it was going to be a bad day. And yet, things seemed to be going quite well, now. He smiled to himself.

His eyes drank in the sight of her breasts as she took off her shirt. He smiled, his eyes dancing with delight as she let her hair down. She was a sexy thing, he decided firmly. He licked his lips.

"What I remember, huh? Hmm, let's see...." He pulled off his shirt, dropping it to the floor as he stepped close to her, arms wrapping around her and pulling her against him. His lips pressed to hers in a hungry kiss. A hand moved down, feeling up her soft ass as he pressed himself to her lustfully.

Mia

Lord he moved as fast as I did! Groaning the second my bared breasts pressed to his chest, my tongue thrust wantonly into his mouth tangling in a frenzied pace. My fingers clutched to his upper arms, body curved inward to press everywhere I could to him.

Panting and hotter than hell now I pulled away from him and groaned, "Remove those damned clothes!" Smiling a little, I flicked my tongue along the seam of his lips and reached for his belt and button at the same time.

He was proving to be a very nice distraction, one with alot of promise. "God Daniel! Don't tease me damn it!" She tugged his belt open and fumbled with his button, he was obviously not going to relinquish his hold on her ass to assist!
