He gave a grunt, and somehow managed to get the floor under his feet. He collected her things, handing them to her before collecting his own. He somehow managed to dress himself while watching her.
"Eh, well, her loss, your gain." He stretched, his shirt in hand, watching as she dressed, and smiling all the while. Once she was done, he pulled on his own shirt, and a man opened the door. He lifted an eyebrow.
"Preacher sent me. Him an' the Capt'n went over to the Bilge. You two are in charge. He left orders to get teh cannons primed."
Dan watched him, and stepped over to the door. "Back ta work, ya lazy bum! And have the sense ta knock, this is Mia's quarters, an' ya don' barge in on a woman in charge a ye health jus' anytime ya want!"
He shut the door closed on the mans face, and looked over at Mia. "Well, Mia, looks like i's time ta ge' back ta work."
"Understood Preach, very good my man, very good.." She gave him a tentive smile but turned her eyes quickly back towards the Bilge. She was bargaining here just by going to his ship. She took only Preach with her, only needed him, but if they got in danger? They could always jump and swim for it if all else failed.
She had no idea just how Thomas would react, how he would even recieve her if at all? She had to try the nice route, why however was still a mystery.
"I do not trust Vallen anymore than I trust that little cat at Thomas's side, but I have little choice in this.. My father asked one thing of me, I have to at least try and see this through.. But I won't go his route." The ship came into view and she called out,
"AHOY THERE! Permission to come aboard as a guest?" She had her little white flag and everything, now would Thomas agree to it? The crew of the Bilge looked over a little stunned to see her coming to them in this manner.
"Looks to me like they were prepared to fight, Eh Preach?" She pointed at the guns now aimed and ready. She didn't blame him, she had his out gunned and all pointing his direction. Maybe he'd want peace as well?
Glaring at the rude little snipe for interrupting, I flung my hair back and met his steady gaze just as Daniel slammed the door in his face.
"Good show.." Smiling at Danny I thanked him with a kiss.
"Work is always calling isn't it?" I breathed against his mouth before backing away. "Well, we best get our bottoms up on deck and see to controlling this ship.. Some of those new crew members look a little slimey to me." Dressing quickly as possible I grabbed my dagger on my way out of the room.
Patting Daniel on the bottom, we parted ways at his stairway with a deep lusty kiss. " MMmm 'Til later Danny.. don't go forgetting now.." I winked and vanished up on deck to take Ash's place. Since Daniel was manning the cannons I would wait here and watch things as they progressed.
He gave her ass a parting squeeze, grinning to himself. Well, he thought to himself, things seemed to be moving along well. And so he straightened himself and went off to yell at his men some more, and get them as ready as the landlubbing bastards could be.
Because their lives may depend on it. Of course, the cannons could also sit the entire trip, never being fired, but his job wasn't to hope for the best, it was to prepare for the worst.
Tightening his swordbelt, Melvin apeared on deck as the crew watched the longboat from the Mystique crawl across the lagoon. oars dipping, it looked like a large insect skimming the surface of the steadily calming water. Melvin stretched and looked at the clearing sky. Pete sailed down from the rigging and landed on his shoulder, shook his wet feathers on Melvin's shoulder and nipped his ear. "Sorry, old boy," Melvin laughed, "But I found a better way to ride out the storm than clingin' to a wet rope."
Melvin and Leia had ridden out the storm by riding each other. as the waves increased in severity and the wind began to howl, Melvin had pulled Leia on top of him, looking up at her delicious body and her sparkling eyes. Slowly lowering herself on to his cock, moving her hips in a circular motion, Leia had spiraled down on him, letting out a deep sigh till she was buried to the hilt. Throwing her head back she had ridden him, grinding on his hardness as his hands wandered up and down her body, fingers pinching the coral tipped nipples on her upthust breasts. Working herself to a frenzy, Leia fell forward, still working her slick channel up and down his hardness. Melvin took her breasts into his mouth, sucking them one at a times till she cried out, her inner walls fluttering up and down the length of his cock. Turning her over, Melvin had plowed her long and deep, pleasuring her one last time as the storm blew out above them. Finally collapsing in her arms, Melvin kissed her deeply as the energy ebbed from their bodies. Leia had held his head against her breasts as they rose and fell, holding him till their breaths became even.
The flurry of activity on deck at the approach of the Mystique finally stirred them from their languid position. "Lass, we better be up on deck, or the Cap'n just might have us us up for desertion," Melvin had laughed. "I sure don't want to be keel hauled and I damn sure don't want anyone floggin' that purty ass of yers." Leia had laughed and pushed her soft behind against him, wiggling it back and forth. melvin laughed again, held her hips and bumped her several times with his pelvis. "Next time, girl, I promise," he said, slapping her haunch with the palm of her hand. "Now, let's go see what those fools on the Mystique are up to."
Leia decided to wait behind a few minutes before she followed Melvin up on deck. She tucked her hair behind her ear and checked out her bodice, trying to make it less than obvious that she and Melvin had in fact ridden each other throughout the storm and though both sated, for now, there was an expectation that their explorations of each other were not over yet.
She slipped out on deck and moved towards the side, looking over the rail and taking a deep breath. The sting of the sea as it rolled and the freshness in the air revived her and helped her shed her lust temporarily and focus on the group strangely assembled on the deck.
”What’s happening..?”
She moved forward and recognised the Mystique, shocked at how close the ship was to their own.
Her eyes trained upon their enemies, Leia missed any knowing glances cast in her direction. Her attire was as ordered as it ever was, but the flush of her cheeks and the animated sparkle in her eye spoke volumes.
"AHOY THERE! Permission to come aboard as a guest?"
Leia’s eyes flew to Thomas and then to Krysta who stood closely beside him.
So… Ash was still very much in command … Leia had not thought that likely and could not help a grudging admiration for the woman who had been so let down by her crew the previous evening.
”She must be mad … “
She muttered to Melvin who stood close by …
Surely Thomas would not allow her to board.
Curious as to how things would work out, Leia waited for her Captain’s response.
Inside a single cove, as dark now lay across the coast, the Bilge anchored sideways, blocking out anyone or anything trying to come get the Warhammer. In the short distance, lighted only by the moon, the old boat where the other half of the map now sat.
"As a guest?" He smiled as he looked overboard at Ash and a first mate or cabin boy or something.
"She must really want this map. I bet you she'll either beg, or whine..." Thomas eyed her over once, the sincerity in her eyes.
"I've got five gold coins on whinig."
A few of the men took the bet.
"Ahoy there," He finally called out, letting her float out there long enough, "Permission granted. You are my guests for tonight. Please, come aboard. I believe we have a little bit to discuss, if I'm not mistaken."
He had her right where he wanted her.
"oh, this is good. Have the chef prepare a dinner. We'll all sit down, the best of my crew with her. Leia, Melvin, take care of any needs they may have. Krysta, keep an eye on both of them. This is a peaceful meeting, and I want it to stay that way, especially the armed one. He looks dangerous."
A few stout men lowered ropes to help the captain and her friend aboard.
"Why, Ashley, it has been a long time. Last time I remember seeing you, you were trying to put a hole in my boat, what brings you round this time?"
Was to stunned to speak for she was either brave or pure stupidity. Already watching her *partner* remembering him from the tavern. How ready he was to go out and either kill or severly hurt Thomas. My words to him stayed strong, he had guns and all I had were blades so naturally he would have the better advantage. Sadly for him, I knew how to fight even if I die that person goes with me.
Though Thomas wanted peace tonight all I could do was snarl under my breath.
"This is not the best of ideas!"
Granted we had these two out numbered, that made no difference to me. This little kitten has a trick up her sleeve and I wanted to know what it was. Knew what she was after, but to what lengths will she go to get it. My eyes never left the one they called Preach and they won't for the remander of the time they are aboard. Not even a smile crossed my lips, not to them anyway. A look of warning and ready to pounce at the slightest mistake.
She eyed Krysta with a little grin and calmly spoke to the firey creature, "Retrack the claws Kitten.. I'm not here to bite.." Moving past the girl and towards Thomas, she had a sudden urge to slap his snide little face.
Jack-ass!
"Oh, well I have a guest on my ship.. who has been most helpful.. Figured you and I could bargain." She smiled at Thomas and introduced her first mate. "This is Preach, I am sure you recall him from Daddy's crew.. He's come along to make sure I behave.." She kept her friendly little smile in place but watched each and everyone of Thomas's crew like a hawk.
"Is there somewhere we can discuss privately? As you see I come in peace, not armed.. So how about it Thomas?" She wouldn't beg this man for a bargain, nor would she just spill the beans in front of all his crew neither. She did have some brains.
It's too bad too that she missed his ship.. Would make this long process non-existant. Damn her weaknesses! She never betrayed her inner turmoil, not for a milisecond. Just do business, thats all this was. But just once she'd like to do her Father proud and be as ruthless a pirate as he was..
"Look, I don't want any blood shed or ships lost..Definitely do not want any lives lost.. We're mature adults, can we bargain or should I go?" She again waited, hating the silence.
The second she called me a kitten, I hissed at her as I walked behind Thomas. Wanting to myself between her and him, sadly enough for me. That would have been rude. And it would not have been whe Thomas wanted.
"I may be a kitten, but I will not retrack my claws at your command for I do not trust you any more than you trust me."
Spoke calmly yet, still ready to pull the daggers. I wanted her away, took all my will to not push her over board. Of all the things she has done to hurt Thomas and the emotional ride she put him through... aye.. I wanted her overboard in the deep cold waters.
Tried to look calm, although my eyes gave to much away. The told how I truly felt about this woman. Thomas was acting far better than I was at being friendly, then again people were not easy for me to deal with.
Great! Now she wants to be with him alone, I do not think so. There was nothing I could do if that is what he wished for. Does not mean I trust her anymore, that just made the trust that much more thinner. Reluctantly turned around and headed for the cabin to freshin up some, put on dry clothes. No way am I putting on a skirt, not with that preach lurking around. Plus if it came down to a fight, it would be easier for me.
Leia watched the exchange between Ash and Krysta and smirked.
Their visitor might be a "Captain", but Leia knew that Krysta was a dangerous one to get on the wrong side of ... and certainly no "kitten" when it came to a fight ... and Leia knew Krysta would certainly fight for "her" man.
Sauntering closer to Ash, she fixed her with an impudent stare.
"Sooo ... you sobered up then?"
She asked in a mock friendly manner.
"Good to see you regained command ... disobedience ... so tiresome ..."
Leia's eyes danced then hardened as she drew slightly closer.
"But have no fear, "Captain" ... "
She weighted the term to sound ironic.
"If Thomas should give an order for you to be taken or ... "
She shrugged delicately.
"There's not a man or woman aboard that would not jump to obey his will... whatever that may be."
She had perhaps overstepped the mark, but no matter.
It were best the woman had her cards marked earlier rather than later.
Drawing back in seeming deference to Ash, Leia waved her onwards with a sugary smile and turned to find herself gazing into the cold eyes of Preach.
Only he had belatedly realised what a threat she had posed that evening aboard their ship.
Indeed if Dan hadn't been ruled by his the braincell between his legs things could have been very different now.
"Ye'll not find any souls to save this visit ... "
She informed him smoothly, knowing he had overheard her words to his Captain and watching his expression carefully.
Leia held Preach's assessing gaze as his eyes raked over her form, hovering momentarily on her immodest bodice then returning to her face.
Oh yes ... he was the dangerous one, she was sure.
She could see in his eyes that he had killing in mind.
She knew he regretted letting her get away.
But what must rankle still worse was that he too had ignored Ash's order to have her taken and then later he had allowed Dan free Leia and allowed her escape. A service she had not repaid Dan for ... in kind ... or any other currency!
Despite his chilling words, Leia grinned at the thought of her double evasion.
She had made an enemy of him before now.
That could not be undone.
She would merely have to watch her back with this one!
Leia's eyes opened wide in surprise as Preach directed the softly precise words at her.
Her soul?
Who gave a toss about that anymore?
The man was a freak ... an idiot ...
She shrugged, dismissing the question and ignoring the disquiet his steady stare caused her.
Catching Melvin's eye, she gave him a saucy grin and turned away.
She was answerable to no one.
Certainly not a man who killed with the sword and claimed to live by God!
Thomas got between his crew and the new arrivals. His stature both forbidding and agile, like that of a men willing to do far more than he wanted.
"Enough.... Enough!"
His words cut through the arguments, as he looked at each and every one.
"I will not have bickering on my ship. That isn't how I run things, and my crew should know that by now. These people are my guests, and they will be treated as such. If I hear so much as a rumor that they have been threatened or hurt in any way, I'll make you sure you swim home."
Thomas eyed each of his members, a hateful glance at them for being so inconsiderate. When his eyes fell on Leia though, he couldn't help but plead with her. She had the worst of anyone in all this. They had almost locked her up for no reason, and then Ash's cabin boy nearly made mince meat out of her. She had a right to be at the very least intrigued. But if this were to go well, h would need her help as well as everyone else's.
He couldn't look at Krysta at all. He tried, to at least tell her to tone things down in Ash's presence, but he knew he couldn't. She had every right to be mad, and so did Thomas. No one would blame Thomas if he pushed her over, or drove her through. Not with the way she left him, not with the way she acted just yesterday at the tavern. He could see eyes on him, waiting to yell or scream or throw her in the brig or something.
But he didn't.
He didn't know why, maybe a part of him cared for her too much to hurt her like that. Or maybe... just maybe...
God, he didn't want to finish that thought.
"Ash," His words were as sharp as a sword, "You will not threaten my crew, directly or indirectly. You are guests on my ship, remember that. The moment I hear so much as a rumor that you treated any of my crew as something less than respect, I will dump you and your bodyguard in the brig without a second thought. You came her promising pease, please don't make me break that promise for you."
A moment of heavy silence, as a small lad came to Thomas, and whispered something in his ear.
"Excellent, the chef prepared a special meal for your coming, it should be ready within the hour. For now, we have business to take care of. Krysta, would you take our fair Preacher friend here, show him around the ship. I'm sure he'd love a tour."
He said this without care what the stupid little God-man wanted. The idea of having Krysta know just where he was though, pleased him greatly.
He walked over to his private cabin, opening the door, and bowing slightly for her to join him.
"Private, just as you asked, Captain."
Leia turned back immediately to see Thomas place himself between the "guests" and his crew.
"I will not have bickering on my ship. That isn't how I run things, and my crew should know that by now. These people are my guests, and they will be treated as such. If I hear so much as a rumor that they have been threatened or hurt in any way, I'll make you sure you swim home."
Leia smarted at the rebuke and dropped her eyes not risking a look over at Ash and Preacher for she knew her feelings would show. She raised them to find herself staring into Thomas's eyes.
His eyes seemed to entreat her, not accuse. She knew that despite the fact that the grudge with those on the Mystique had become personal, the welfare of those onboard the Bilge, not least her own Captain were paramount.
Leia had told Ash that the crew would follow Thomas's bidding regardless of what he asked of them and now ...
Leia would far rather cut their throats, but it was peace that Thomas was demanding and she could not refuse to follow his commands, no matter how difficult.
Almost imperceptibly she nodded, the merest inclination of the head, but Thomas understood and gave the ghost of a smile. His approbation buoyed Leia's spirits. She took a step back and watched as Thomas turned to repeat the same warning to his "visitors".
"Ash. You will not threaten my crew, directly or indirectly. You are guests on my ship, remember that. The moment I hear so much as a rumor that you treated any of my crew as something less than respect, I will dump you and your bodyguard in the brig without a second thought. You came her promising peace, please don't make me break that promise for you."
Then all was a hive of activity.
Dinner was to be ready in an hour's time and meanwhile ...
Leia watched as Thomas asked Krysta to show Preach around the ship and only just held back a smirk as he waved Ash below into his cabin.
There was going to be trouble ... one way or the other ... she was sure of it ... but all she could do was obey her Captain and bide her time. Ever watchful she seated herself and took out a small knife and set about trimming the ropes that lay nearby and making sure they were tightly woven. From the corner of her eye she watched Krysta ... and Preach ... and sighing wondered where Melvin had gotten to?
It took everything she had to bite her tongue and not snap back at him for jumping her ass like that. She had yet to threaten anyone on this ship... well today anyway.
Why was she wasting her time like this? Why was she risking everything to come over here and bargain with a pig headed mule who would never bargain to begin with? WHY IN GOD'S NAME Didn't she just blow his ship into kindling? She asked herself all these and many more while smiling as sweetly as possible. Her jaw hurt from clamping down, her rebuttle was forming but she would not let it go! She was not here to fight, this was NOT personal... This was business.
She followed him silently to his quarters and moved within. She stood with her back to a wall and waited for him to join her. She had to think of something soothing to calm her nerves, and as the door shut on the two of them, she felt a panic set in she hadn't felt before.
Jesus! I have to be mentally ill to be alone with him!
She cleared her throat and kept her distance from Thomas, not meeting his eyes or approaching him. This was business.. She had to keep telling herself that, she was not going to get personal or say anything she might live to regret..
She declined to sit by remaining near the wall and exit. She was definitely going to have to withdrawl from dinner here on board. She couldn't be around him that long and not lose control over her tongue in some way. Be it embarassing confessions or heated words of anger and hurt.. Neither of which were good for either of them.
"Vallen stowed away on my ship.. his intended target I believe was here instead...He gave me some interesting information, but.." She stopped and eyed him a second. "It makes no never mind. I come to offer a partnership.. We work together to get Black Hawk's treasure instead of killing one and all. Your ship moves faster, but mine out guns you and is in firing range. I know your ship is readied as well.. If we both think about it a moment, we'll realize that everyone will come out losing in this stand off.. You won't back down, and you know I won't either Thomas.. So what say you?" She threw all her cards down on the table in a matter of seconds, now for his answer and to get off this ship!
Thomas sat behind his desk, not rocking back and forth. Since they were in this quiet cove, the waves no longer lapped against the side, and the ship itself was as calm as an otter.
He took in everything she had to say. When she spoke, he looked at her with a deep and solemn morose that bored in inteligence. As soon as she finished, he stood up, and thanked her.
"I need some time, please," He stepped out of the cabin, leaving her inside. He leapt for joy, dancing on the deck to the amaze of the crew which had just gotten back to work.
"Yes, yes, yes, I've got her right where I want her! Ha ha!"
He wanted to go up to Krysta and kiss her, long and hard, but she was nowhere to be found. Below decks keeping an eye on the cabin boy no doubt.
Leia!
He walked up to her, a brave and daring stance. When he got to her, he picked her up, leaned her over, and planted a long and hard kiss. Sweet and seductive, as his tongue just played at her lips.
"I've got her," He said, letting her go back to her work, and then danced once more back to the door. As he opened it though, his entire posture turned once more to solemn and deep in thought.
"So, let me just get this straight. I want to make sure I have the details all figured you. You are coming here to ask me to either surrender part of the treasure, or you will open fire, am I right? You are forcing me to become partners, or you will just blow my ship up, and take the gold for yourself... I just want to make sure I'm hearing you with crystal clarity. Is that it? That is the peace you wanted to bring to my ship? Share the gold or die?"
There wasn't much I could do, but to obey his command and be polite to these creatures. Hell he couldn't even look at me and now he was alone with the tramp. Worse of all he wanted me to give a *tour* of the ship. I don't think so! Stepped back taking in a few deep breaths while looking at Leia then right back at Preach.
My little tour for you is at the bottom of the sea with ropes binding you.
This little thought brought a smile to cross my lips. Bit my lips from saying anything of the kind though. Would have asked Leia to join us, but had a feeling she wouldn't want to be around Preach of all people.
Fake smile went to Preach,
"No real need for introductions, Follow me and I will be pleased to show you around."
Again at the bottom of the sea.....
Took him around the top deck, then went to the bottom. Answered whatever questions he may have had. Or whateve conversation arose. There wasn't much to see that he hasn't seen on a ship before so the *tour* was fairly quick as we ended at the back of the ship on top deck mostly in silence as we waited for our captains to return. Only time I spoke to Preach was when he spoke first. Wasn't out of rudeness, just wasn't much for me to say, mainly because I didn't like talking much.
She gasped and moved towards him with fire in her eyes, her finger came up and poked him in the chest.
"I said NO such thing!" She growled at him, grunted and spun away from him muttering under her breath as she did, "pig headed mule!" She whirled back around to face him, her hands raising to rest on her hips.
"That is not what I meant damn it! And you know it! Why do you always do these things?" She bit hard on her tongue and closed her eyes a moment. Inhaling slow and evenly, she peeked back out at him.
"We're at a stand off here, and you know it! Damn it! Just admit we're both stuck right here." She glared at him, waiting for him to confirm it. Her ship was in target and so was his. Simple enough.
"I have one half of the map already Thomas... You have the word of a snake.."
"I think you're half right," Thomas sat back behind his desk, looking at her like a cat would look at a mouse. He had her, he had her right where he wanted her. If he knew for sure he could outrun the ship of hers, and she had the map on her, he would take her captive right here and now, and then just boot out of here by morning.
His ship was cornered by hers though. He had to go around the coral, or through it to leave the southern coves of the island. He didn't think he could do that without lots of damage.
But, then again...
She was only half right.
"I think you are stuck, and I think I'm the one sticking you. Vallen may be a sneaky and pathetic man, but his word is gold. You know it as well as I do. Why did you turn around? Your ship was heading east this morning. Vallen made you turn around, didn't he? He told you just where I was going, and you spun on your heels to get at the other half of that map. You believe it's on the Warhammer, as much as I do. You wouldn't be here, with your ship, trying to make a deal if you didn't believe the map was there."
Thomas sat there, a shit grin on his face.
"Ok, I'll make you a deal. It'll be a little bet. Something we can both be happy with. If the other half of the map is not on the Warhammer, then we become partners right here and now, and split everything right down the middle... IF, however, if Vallen is telling the truth, and on that ship there is another half of the map, then I get a bigger cut. Instead of 50/50 we'll say something more like 70/30. I guess it all depends on how well you trust your own judgement. You willing to give up part of it just to prove your right?"
Thomas opened the doors, calling his major officers to the deck.
"Ladies, gentleman. We aren't waiting for morning. We're going over to the Warhammer right now."
Thomas stepped outside, looking at his old flame with eager anticipation, "What do you say Ashley? Wanna go for an adventure?"
She grinned at him, her eyes glaring daggers. Oh he can think he won, but she knew better. She sauntered over to him slowly, close enough to brush against him before she stopped.
"I never disputed the map Thomas dear.... But you'll need my half reguardless.. That makes us even.." She winked and moved past him to stand on deck.
"Ready when you are captain.." She relaxed her stance, not really worried over his over protective harem on this ship. If he knew her at all, he'd know she was just as dangerous as any of his little kittens. This was boring her however and she wanted to get a move on, not play stupid games and dance around like toys on string.
Mia
"Prisoner needs fed.." One of the cabin boys was tugging on my shirt.
"Hell." True enough, and I still had to see to his bandaging.
"Get Daniel on deck to command.." I tossed the order to the cabin boy and fetched a tray from a still stewing Sally.
"Cheer up doll.. It's only a bath.." I winked at her rosey cheeked glare and moved quietly but quickly down the stairs. Stopping at the bottom I noticed the two guards huddled with Vallen.
Someone cleared their throat and the guards moved away.
"I brought something for the prisoner.. See he eats, I will return with some salve in a few minutes.." I didn't like how they eyed me up and down. I would have to repremand them later for eyeing me in such a manner.. They were behaving suspiciously, whispering and stopping all conversation when she entered.. Why?
He left the men to their work, when he was called for, and went above deck to see how things were going. Even though he spent most of his days below with his cannons, he knew how a ship was run. It was just he had absolutely no reason to want to.
He had his pipe with him, and was enjoying himself as he watched from the ship. He didn't know what was going on, but that didn't bother him. His job wasn't to know what was happening there, unless something drastic happened.
All he had to do was make sure the boat stayed afloat and the crew stayed in line. He glanced around at the crew, watching them carefully. He idly wondered how many of them could be trusted.
He frowned. Likely, none of the new ones could be trusted. He rubbed at his scar. They'd seen what had happened to Vallen. That would right a few of them. But there were always those that Would just draw others to them before trying anything.
Moving up behind Danny, I laid my hand on his shoulder and moved close to his ear, "We best watch this crew.. I've seen a few whispering here and there.. Not sure if it's anything or not, but with Ash over there..." I let the statement rest there, I still wanted to strangle the twit for going over there. That was not a plan, that was stupidity!
"She puts herself in danger because of a johnson?!" I snorted a little, "She really needs to get over that .... man!" With Preach over there and the Captain, authority could quickly be out of balance and cause trouble.. Not to mention Danny and I were vastly outnumbered here. Sally.. Well she could hold her own with one or two.. But this many?
I glanced around, knowing maybe four on deck were Brian's crew, the rest signed up with Ashley. Out numbered.. The girl should have thought about that before playing peace-maker.
"Stay on deck with me Danny.. " My hand slid down his arm and gripped his hand a second before moving off to stroll along the deck.
"SEE ANYTHING?" I called up the the sailor in the nest.
"Aye, they be social like!" He called back down, shaking his head and putting his eye back to the spy glass.
"That doesn't tell me anything.." Glancing at the Bilge and then back at the sailor, "THEY LOOK TO BE IN DANGER?" I called out again.
"Nah.. But the Cap'n looks a might miffed.." He didn't bother looking down at me from his perch, instead he kept watching.
"Ok maybe five.." He seemed to be loyal to the captain, but I couldn't place his face?
"Danny? We angled right to fire over there?" I pointed towards the side of the ship I wanted to know about.. The definitions of each place on this ship still escaped me, so I paid no mind to which was what, just pointed and waited.
"Listen up men! We DO NOT fire those guns unless fired upon, or Captain orders it. GOT IT!?" I eyed those around, "Nor do ya fire any of those muskets on your hips.. We will not put the captain in danger.." I went back to pacing the deck and watching the Bilge.
