as a reader this room doesn't exactly turn me on... old leather bound volumes tend to be dry publications like "Contract Law and Tort Cases of North Cumberland, 1877-1892".

and as a collector i wouldn't hold out much hope that it's find any first editions in there.

You need to try the revised edition, or at least pick up 1810-1876. I find that edition to be far more enjoyable.
