Ozzy is the lead singer of Black Sabbath...

He was. He left Black Sabbath in 1978/1979, and has been solo ever since. I just happened to catch the last tour he did with Black Sabbath, in the fall of 1978 - I was a senior in high school. Crazy Train is on his "Diary of a Madman" album, which was his second solo album released after he left BS... released in 1981.

Black Sabbath has had a total of five lead singers beginning their run with Ozzy: Ronnie James Dio (I saw them again with him as their lead singer when I was in college), Then Ian Gillan (former lead singer for Deep Purple), Dave Donato, Glenn Hughes (another Deep Purple singer), and Tony Martin.
