Boston Litogether, 2008

Please reply if you would be interested in attending a Litogether in Boston later this summer. We can decide specifics later on based on interest.

Also, any ideas on what we could do or where we could meet? Some suggestions so far have been places near the Boston Garden (aka, the TD Banknorth Garden), or the North End. Maybe somewhere with live music some Friday. Somewhere within decent walking distance of the T.

I'm all for burgers and billiards at Boston Beer Works, personally.

If I can quote you dizzylia... One of many reasons Lit can be such a wonderful tool. Anonymity allows several layers of honesty that can't always be used in "Real Life".

This is true. For what it's worth, though, I found one of my best friends at the only other Litogether I ever went to, years ago in Minnesota.

This is why it's a public place and close to public transportation, though. If you feel skeeved out, it's easy to bail. Just don't stiff on the check.

But really, there's no pressure. It can be a lot of fun, but not everyone feels comfortable with that sort of thing.
