Boy did this forum change after the election

Kamala was interviewed about RvW and asked if she could think of any piece of legislation or a court decision affecting men comparably, and she repeatedly said/shook her head "no."

Two words: the draft.

This is the kind of shithead politician we get in the 21st century.

Lotsa things don't seem to "work out" the way some of those folks of that elk seem to think that they should.

Moral: Those Folks of that Elk don't know how things work.

🙄

But" they" did know how things work in 2018, 2020, 2022, etc…

😑

👉 Wat 🤣

🇺🇸

Side note:

"They" also know that this election was mostly about the economy and the fear of the other.

DonOld and the MAGAt "republicans" will now have to deliver on some farcically empty promises.

See you in four years. (Two years for the midterms.)

President Trump didn’t support NAFTA first off, so your whole screed is undermined. Why you laughing?

Not sure if you noticed…let me rephrase that…I KNOW you haven’t noticed as evidenced by Tues nights results, but this is not yer daddy’s Republican Party anymore. You keep staring at the wall of the cave as the rest of us work to make this country better.
What is sad is you don't realize that it is still the rich in the Republican Party pulling all the strings. They think of the blue collar Trump supporters as useful idiots. In the end there will be no more manufacturing jobs but the rich will be doing even better.

Maybe .. mental wellness is important. People are being told terrible things like to kill themselves by Trumpers now, the whole passive aggressive being an asshole to people and then acting like them reacting in any way is their problem is the problem itself. If someone makes insulin too expensive and a diabetic dies maybe don’t blame the dead guy.
The truth is you and your ilk have said nothing but bad things about people like me for 8 years now. Funny how now that the shoe is on the other foot it somehow disturbs your fragile sensibilities. All I can say in a conciliatory way is...Tough shit. You reap what you sow.

Just so you know, since I have lost a family member and friends to suicide it is not something I ever tell people to think about, let alone do. In the end though most people that actually commit suicide never say anything to anyone, they just do it. Suicide is a selfish act that leaves those left behind with a huge sense of guilt for not being able to help.

By the way...I'm a diabetic and life is good! I can afford my meds because I have fabulous insurance.

… also people dying because some guy lost an election is nothing new.. 3 people died at the capitol on January 6th because someone didn’t want to admit he lost.
One person was killed and that was an unarmed protestor murdered by a panicked Capitol police officer. The rest died of medical emergencies.

Hardly the same as offing yourself because your candidate lost.

Yes, depressed and bent at the knees under the weight of your demonstrable ignorance.

“The biggest single, best predictor of how someone’s going to vote in American politics now is education level. That is now the new fault line in American politics,” Sosnik told David Chalian on the “CNN Political Briefing” podcast.

Trump’s rise over the past three election cycles, Sosnik argued, “accelerated and completed this political realignment based on education that had been forming since the early ’70s, at the beginning of the decline in the middle class.”

As the US transitions to a 21st century economy, there’s a rift between the people who attain education – “that’s become the basic Democratic Party,” he said, comparing them with people who feel left behind, “that group of voters is now the modern Republican Party base.”

Here’s a list of things she was doing for her country…

Legislative and Policy Leadership

  • Set a new record for the most tie-breaking Senate votes cast by a VP in history

Her tie breaking vote is what fueled the present inflation. She's also directly responsible for the current invasion over the Southern border that is killing Americans from coast to coast.

Your problem is you confuse educated people with people indoctrinated in leftwing theory at places of higher education. They aren't the same.

People with the intelligence to graduate from college have the intelligence to do their own thinking. Political messages are effective when they tell people what they want to believe, or what they know to be true in their lives.

You can’t be serious? Rich people pulling strings? No shit! What’s SAD is you don’t realize “the rich” are pulling your strings. In your party especially. Go listen to David Axlerod. He’s telling you the democrats are ruled by elites on both coasts and have lost their way with the average American. I doubt you even know who he is, but that’s your homework for the weekend. Figure it out.

As usual, CNN et al, got it all wrong (no surprise there) and are light years behind the changing electorate.

Sosnik's report captures the blunt reality: "The 2024 election marks the biggest shift to the right in our country since Ronald Reagan's victory in 1980. ... [Trump's victory this week] was due to support from a multi-racial working-class group of voters." The coalition includes:

Maybe after the shock wears off it will get back to normal...but I'm new here and clueless. :)
American Exceptionalism has always been a delusion. The best came there after the second world war is start a new life. And what will happen is all those great people that they raised will leave and do the same somewhere else.

The best died in both Euro-trash wars.

They came here to get away from that shit and then we sent their children back into the breach.

I note that there is still not a lot of demand for the houses right behind the oceanfront property.

You would think the True Believers would be snapping them up.

One thing the Coastal Elites need to keep defending above all else?

Oceanfront living.
Don't coastal over-educated elites understand that coastal regions will soon be underwater. :D If they preach climate change and don't move to higher ground does that make them intellectually challenged?

And yet everybody wants to come here. :)
