bearlee said:It's a good thing-unless it's notYou really thing the Stones sucked?
ElusivButterfly said:As definitive as always I see...LOL
Yes I thought........
Well, listening to Mick...his voice is not what it once was...seeing him all wrinkled up, dancing around like he was 20 and dressed like he was 20. The Stones were great in their time but that time has passed.
And they had all the hooplah about how the people who were allowed to go and jump around in the center of the tongue....they had to be of certain ages, in good health, had to look a certain way...well that is all bull...someone Mick's age would never have a chance to get near. I find that offensive...Talk about descriminating (on many different levels)...Oh I am not saying that the Stones made that call...it may have been the people who set up the whole 1/2 time show. Doesn't matter...Mick's voice was bad...he doesn't have IT anymore. I thought they sucked.
BTW...did anyone else notice that the whole game/show time was about 40 minutes shorter than any other?
bearlee said:Well, the voice was a little weak at times and I didn't give it all that much thought until read this article on WebMD. Fascinating as hell and I hope I'm in that kind of shape at that age.

How are you Michelle..
ElusivButterfly said:Well I guess this part of the story sums it up pretty well:
Now or later, the Stones may pay a price for their hard living. But if (or when) their past ever does catch up to them, they do have one advantage over many of their hard-living fans.
"If you're going to engage in those activities, make sure you're rich," Mulhausen says. "Because if you're poor, you can't afford the treatments, and the consequences are going to be much more profound."
While I agree about having a better lifestyle and all, but it does cost a lot of $. Mick's running 8 - 12 miles is just something that he has done for years and years. If you think about it, anyone who has a life where they are extremely active all the time are going to be better off (in better shape) than someone who just sit behind a desk all the time and really doesn't get very much physical activity. mick isn't any more special than anyone else...He just has lots of $ that most others do not.

jase_conner said:Remaining active is the most important thing in aging. Just treating issuers as they arise is far more costly in general well being as well as money.
