I'm convinced. I want a magic wand, the one with two attatchments. Anyone have tips on where to get the best prices? So far the best I've found is Amazon for $50 + shipping. I would like to avoid ebay.

Sounds like a good price depending on the shipping. I got mine at drugstore.com for a bit more if you are getting two attachments.

Fury :rose:

With shipping it comes to $55.50.

I don't suppose anyone has an amazon.com coupon code they are willing to share?

----------
Ha! They have a "buy it used" option for condoms!

You can try Shopping.com or shopzilla.com. They find just about the lowest prices anywhere, internet or otherwise.

Have you purchase it yet? If not, you may want to look at this place - the link is from SweetErika that she posted on another thread.... :)

Magic Wand

Good luck! and be sure to let us know how you like it once you get it.....tee hee

No, amazon is not the best. Goodman's is, and that's who amazon still goes through, I believe. They just tack on a few dollars for Amazon. I got mine from there in a few days. :)

EDIT: Oops...didn't see Sassy had already posted the link. Anyway, I was going to go through Amazon, but then I wondered why I should pay even a few dollars more when I could go to 'the horse's mouth' because you can't get free shipping or anything with third-party sellers on Amazon. I think mine was $52 something, all said and done.

Amazon

I was looking at the magic wand at Goodman's as my very first toy - till my sweetie suggested I get a rabbit pearl - I actually bought it last night from Amazon and I do believe I got a great deal. I was seeing prices of around $80 for it on different sites, but got it via amazon (and the 3rd party ) for $45 including shipping......so now I can't wait.... :nana:

mhhhhh sounds Exciting :p have Fun ~well I know you will :D

Goodmans is $46.99 plus $8.65 shipping.
Amazon (via independent seller's amazon store, not goodmans) is $49.99 plus $5.50 shipping.

Not much difference except amazon also carries condoms. (Not that I really need them. They simply make cleanup easier.)

I'd like to get a rabbit, but they don't really go well with dangly bits. Maybe in a few years...

Any last words before I order?

Yes, some toys on Amazon can be good deals, and I certainly found a hell of a bargain on my silicone lube (16 oz. for $19.95 :nana: ).

Why anyone would pay $80 for a rabbit is beyond me. I can maybe see $45 for some models - the really high-quality ones with beads on a track and Japanese motors - but I've always bought mine for under $20 on eBay, and they've lasted just fine. My friends have bought many on eBay as well, and again, they've had nothing but great results. You certainly have to be careful to choose sellers with excellent feedback, research, watch shipping charges, and ask questions about products, but I do that no matter who I'm buying from.

These days I've been partial to the Magic Wand, though perhaps it's time to bring the rabbit out of the hole for some fun! :D

Thank you - yes I do plan on having some fun.....tee hee :p

SweetErika - did you know that Wal-mart is now has Astroglide for sale? I almost order that last night with my toy till my honey told me he bought some yesterday there. And sure enough, when I got to my Wal-mart today, there it was! It's just too bad that a girls toys can not be bought there too..... :p

Ebay - yes I agree with SweetErika. I too have gotten some great deals on ebay, and in fact have never had a problem.

I'm a sucker for saving a few bucks, and appreciated Goodman's deal, reasonable shipping, customer service, and return policy, that's all. :)

Are you planning on using the condoms with the hitachi? Because on most things I'd absolutely agree, but these attachments are so easily cleaned and sterilized that we don't bother with condoms. Plus, you'd have to tie them over the attachment somehow, and that's more trouble than it's worth.

Other than that, I think you're making a great purchase, obviously, and wish you many decades of fun and pleasure! :rose:

Yeah, I have seen Astroglide at Walmart and other places, but we're not fond of it, and the ID Millenium covers all of our sex, massage, shaving, and moisturization needs now. I'm just kicking myself for using water-based, particularly those that contain glycerin, for all of those years!

Alright, I bought it from Goodmans. I'll be sure to review it when it comes.

Looking forward to hearing your opinion on it!

I couldn't find it temp, but it's also possible Goodman's has just changed their Amazon Marketplace name, and you would have bought through them if you'd gone through Amazon anyway. :) But when I was looking at the Amazon profile, I noticed this in the customer feedback (get ready to giggle, guys):

1 out of 5: "the product was basically a sex toy and not advertised as such; I purchased what I thought was a back massager for my son and when it arrived, he was appauled that his mother had bought this for him."
Date: 1/20/2006 Rated by Buyer: Catherine L.
Seller Response: "We offer the Hitachi Magic Wand either with or without attachments. The product listing that Catherine ordered from clearly stated that two adult attachments were included. All our product pages for the Hitachi Magic Wand Massager, either alone or with a variety of attachments is available at: http://www.amazon.com/shops/the-magic-wand-shop" Date: 1/21/2006

LMAO :D
You'd think "Catherine L." would have opened the box first, seen the attachments, and stashed it away for herself. It's a great back massager, but likely wouldn't be the first product I'd turn to for that purpose.

Hmmmm..... I never thought to use it as a back massager...

After purchasing, I realized I do in fact need condoms. The attachments might be easy to clean, but I keep forgetting what a mess these dangly bits make...

Anyway, does anyone know of any online place that gives out free condoms? It's not that I'm cheap, it's that I don't really want to buy them in a store.

Ah. :D
Yeah, Planned Parenthood clinics give out free condoms. In ours, you go in, just ask them for some, and they either give or direct you to small brown bags and a big bowl o' latex. I usually give them some money every now and then to help cover the cost because I believe it's a good organization and we can afford to give back (even a couple of bucks infrequently is appreciated if you can).

Call up local family planning clinics, GLBT organizations, college health centers, and your local health department as well if you don't have luck with PP for some reason.

Great, five days and they still haven't shipped it. It's backordered, even though the website stills says it's in stock. They ignored my email complaining about it. Jerks.

Now I have to wait an indefinite amount of time before I can start waiting some more. It might be faster to cancel and order through amazon.

I could alleviate this tension if only I had my magic wand...

I'd ask to make sure they AREN'T the-magic-wand-shop (or whatever) on Amazon first. That may be why it's backordered.

If you're not getting a response via email, give them a call.

pardon my naivete but I never knew amazon sold dildos hahaha

I live in the NYC area so finding a shop with some sex toys is easy. Have you considered going to a store or is that too much reality? I guess you could pretty easily figure out what you want online.

What's the return policy for a dildo?
