Buying a magic wand

I would call them, but I absolutely despise telephones. I suspect they'll just say "sorry, either keep waiting or cancel it".

I live in the suburbs, so no sex shops are nearby. Plus I hate driving, and would never be able to find a store. Even then I wouldn't really want to go in.

I canceled the order at Goodmans. They sent a confirmation email, but the website status never changed... I called them and they confirmed the cancellation, and said the website might take 24 hours to update. I'm not ordering from them again.

On to amazon. While browsing, I found they have a huge selection of sex toys on clearance. Battery vibrators for $0.50! So many choices...

I'm thinking of ordering a butt plug too, but the reviews say they have a bad chemical smell. Anyone have experience with this? Does the smell go away with cleaning?

Hi Temp

Don't know if this will help you or not - but it will at least give you an idea. My rabbit came from Mighty Vent in WA to the Dallas area and I was charged $6.50 for shipping. Order was placed on a Saturday and I received it on the next Wednesday I believe.

While I was going though the order process, I did have a chance to cancel after I entered my credit card in and saw the shipping - so you should be able to check the shipping costs prior to final sale.

I ordered from amazon. Total of $70 for the wand and a butt plug. The cheaper items were with another company, so I would have ended up paying $6 shipping for a $0.50 item. I hope this order goes through. I can't wait to try it...

a more reputable store/site

I know of a store that has a website........in NYC and Seattle, the store is known as Toys in Babeland. Online, it's www.babeland.com. These stores/website is owned by women for women and they carry a wide assortment of toys. The Hitachi Magic Wand retails for $52.
