How are things?

Things are so busy... but okay. I'm student teaching eight-graders in what's generally considered the "worst" of the city's middle schools. A very interesting experience that takes up pretty much all of my time.

Today is the first time in a long time that I've actually had some time for myself... and then some for S. when he came home. It felt good, I didn't even realize how much I'd needed that.

I have to teach tomorrow, and it's something I already know isn't going to work... yes, I'm a pessimist about it. We'll see.
