I really like to cook, but trying to keep up with a 3 year old and a 1 year old while doing it is pretty tough. LOL That makes for some burned meals. The crock pot is my friend.

Yeah, I can see that. When I was teaching and didn't have a lot of time I started to get over my crockpot skepticism, I found a good cookbook that taught me how to use it right.

I have not tried that before, but it sounds like fun... with old clothes, anyway. I do love the sensation of the cold metal on skin, one of the stories I've written is all about that.

Well my parents are just visiting... but since this is my first house it is a bit odd, as I've never hosted them before. They've always just stayed at the hotel when I only had an apartment that wasn't big enough for them to spend the night there as well. So having my mom clean up my kitchen instead of the other way round is a bit odd.
