A poor attempt at self-deprecating humor. Suffice it to say, that I am not nearly as impressive as you are.![]()

Of course you are right. Silly me. Totally different equipment.

I am so glad of that too. Did I mention you are hot, gorgeous etc etc ?

Lovely.![]()
I'm afraid there haven't been many pictures lately, and I have some bad news, to... which is that my computer is sick.
It's pretty bad.
Hopefully I'll get this bit figured out soon, so that I can finally do pics again some time soon. I do really miss it.
You have nice pics. Rare on this board.
It's been really exhausting trying to deal with it. I hate having to compromise when it comes to computers, and I hate not being able to do what I want to do with them. I hate having all my savegames erased, too.I have good healing skills with computers. Mostly I just have to stand looking at them and the problems go away. But you are far away . . .
Aw, thank you.Incidentally I spent most of yesterday reading your stories, I was gripped!

Writing always has been and will be the main reason why I'm on Lit, so I'm very happy to hear that. I'm not about to look a gift horse in the mouth.A compliment from MC. Even rarer I think.
I'm sorry to hear about your computer problems, and wish I was there being able to help you out.
Do you know what the problem is?
Yes. My computer is a pile of crap.
Really, it's some hardware problem that prevents it from turning on during the first thirty or so times I press the power button. On top of that, it's old and It's got various little things like not liking any new hardware I want for it. My dad fought with it for two days to get it to accept the wireless network. You'd think that wouldn't be so hard, but... yeah.
And now all my programs and such are gone anyway because my dad wiped everything (with me clenching my teeth and agreeing to it while wanting to cry) ad I refuse to install everything all over again and generally put any more effort into this thing because I know I'll just end up heartbroken again because there's going to be another problem. So I'm just doing the bare minimum like installing Firefox and Word so I can do NaNo.
Bit late now I guess if the disk has been wiped. The power up thing could either be the switch itself, the motherboard or the power supply. I had an old Dell I could only start by shorting the switch wires with a screwdriver . . .
There were a couple more problems that re-installing Windows did take care of - at least I do have an internet connection that works now.
I'm sure it isn't the switch. The computer does start up, but them it sort of fizzles out and the screen stays blank, and it never gets anywhere.
Too bad it's not in front of me Jen, I could fix it for you or figure out whats wrong in no time flat.
Anyway I hope your writing is at least going well for you.
It's not going to do any good and is only going to make my mood worse. Okay, this will not be a computer diagnostics thread. Please. It's not going to do any good and is only going to make my mood worse.
It isn't anything really simple. We've eliminated all the simple stuff. My dad does think it's probably the motherboard, but that doesn't help me right now either, unfortunately.
