The good news is, I'm getting a new computer! It's ordered, and once it arrives all my equipment for taking pics will be working again. :)

I'm very excited.

It's even better news for me.

I have a bit of an O/C streak (no, that doesn't just mean cleaning). Having to work on a PC that's not exactly to my specifications, working as I want it to work and that doesn't have everything exactly where and how I want it is torture for me. I hate it. I cried to my mom like I was eight a couple of times over the past few weeks. I was that frustrated about the stupid computer.

Getting a new, functioning computer that's exactly how I want it to be will be a huge load off my mind. It'll be more work to get everything in place and re-install all the programs I need, but then I will have sweet peace of mind.

I have an ex wife who may have. She did tend to post on a lot of the ladies threads and I can see how she might have on yours ;)

Thank you. :kiss: I've got a pretty good network of computer literate people, including my dad and, to some extend, my husband, that are pretty good about helping me, too. And I'm not completely clueless, but a little bit.

I've still got to find a good name for my computer. I used to call everything "Trevor" (both my cars, my laptop and my first desktop) after the toad from Harry Potter. Then I noticed that everything of mine I called Trevor turned out to be a piece of crap. So I thought I should try out a new name. :D

I'm glad to hear that. There are too many people I've known or still know who went through a divorce and were never able to really let go and get over it. That makes it quite difficult.

I see how it can for many. For me It's been a lot easier than I thought it ever could be but I have a couple different situations that have played out that have made it a bit easier for me than for most. Once I made up my mind it was actually pretty easy.
