I can just see you on your hands and knees before S. Your thighs exposed to the cool air as he softly caresses your bare skin ever so lightly with a switch in one hand and the leash in the other.

Though he pulls on the leash from time to time to keep you aware of his perfect dominance it is the sensation of the switch along your thigh that keeps your attention. With each pull of the leash you desire for it to be a slight swat instead. But... that's if you were in charge.

You've got to understand, it's a difficult life with a limited alphabet such as the English one.

I know... poor depraved english speakers. A language isn't cool until it's got ä, ß, ü, or some other crazy special letter. I decree it so.

Umlauts are in so many good words... like... like...

But, English has a bunch of fun letters . . . just depends on what era you look at. I mean, we've got "æ" (ash, long and short), "þ" (thorn, "th"), "ð" "Ð" (ev, "th", lower and upper case), and the yogh (backwards 3 in appearance). Sure, they're not used anymore except by geeky medievalists (like me), but they exist and are fun.

I'm trying to expand my english vocabulary - right now, it's all these biology names for everything, which drives me crazy. I really don't like biology.

Anytime. It fell out of use sometime around the 15th or 16th century. Same with most of the others, except the yogh. Actually the thorn is the reason we see a lot of "Ye olde _____" signs around the place. They were all actually "þe olde ____" then some guy in the 18th century confused the þ with a y (easy to do when handwritten). þe (the) and ye (non-existant word) are very different. But the thorn and ev are interchangable.

I'll stick to using the a-z, otherwise i'll fry my brain & go into meltdown.

Now we wouldn't want that to happen, you know.
Mind you the only time the Umlaut-stuff is really anoying is when you'll have to send e-mails or mail shots. I have to do that regularly for a customer to some 35.000 (legitimate) recipients. And it is a real pain in the neck, when you get the information that this letter was displayed wrongly in that place with programme xy but it was o.k. with all other programmes and so on. Sometimes you change a lot of things - nothing is happening, next time you hardly change anything - all is mixed up.

But then this makes life so interesting, doesn't it?

See, it's the same the other way round though. Everyone is taking the time to stop by the thread and comment and compliment me, and I'm really running out of answers to give except for "Thank you". I never know what to say when people are being so nice to me, and it makes me feel really bad.

Why does this never happen to me?
Not that I want to be deaf after I had the best sex of my life, but I always only hear people reporting that they heard somebody next door or that they had a girlfriend who was "noisy" and so on. Never heard anybody myself or had a girl that was worth hearing.
Mind you, not that it makes sex good just because of it - just would have liked to experience it once. On the other hand, my girlfriend could be mute and it would still be better than with any before.

Hello geeky medievalist, never thought I'll meet one after I left university - and certainly not here!
I did some "medieval English" during my studies, but I have to admit, that I forgot quite a lot of it. But it was very nice to read some of that stuff again - always makes me feel as if my studies were not completely in vain.

Hey, the rat was already dead when I cut it open. In case anyone wants to see what I spend my time with in class... here is a picture of Polly the rat. (Yes, we named it. Sick, no?)

Careful, it's a pretty gross picture. I mean, it's a pregnant rat. Cut open. And her name is Polly.

I probably won't leave the picture up for long though.
