By the way, did you notice that we (Germany) won the world championship in the meantime? No football/soccer wasn't the game but hockey (the one played on grass) and the games were played in Germany. It wasn't as popular as soccer but still got quite some attention and people celebrated sort of: now we got the title after all!
Just to let you know some positive (not so recent) news from good old Germany.
