Some of you may remember that I play Rugby (well.. I used to play, and then this year I got roped into doing it again, even though I technically have no time...)
Anyway, I had a sucktastic practice today, so I'm not in a good mood right now. I'm actually very very pissed off.
In the only game that we've had so far this season, I was one of two girls that knew that they were doing. Everyone else was completely new. I understand the game a lot better than I did two years ago, when I first played, and I'm actually a very decent player now. I pretty much told everyone else what to do in that game, yelled when there was yelling to be done, told the scrums to be low, told people to get into rucks and all of that, because they didn't know that yet.
Today we had one of the girls that I knew two years ago come back and practice with us, and suddenly I'm back to being the girl that sucks. When she asked who had been last man in the lineout, I told her I'd done it in the game. She promptly decided to let a girl do it instead who had no clue what she was doing, and decided I'd be standing there pretending to be the other team instead - so effectively, not doing shit.
I know most of you have absolutely no clue what I'm rambling on about, but suffice to say, I feel like she's putting me down, and not giving me a chance to actually do the things I'm good at, and I'm pissed.
Gah.

Oh... here's a pic of the bruise I got in my first game. This was taken ten days after the game, so imagine how much more pretty it looked before that.
It actually doesn't look half as impressive in the picture as it did live, two or three days after the game.
