Why is it that of the signers of the Paris accords,
we're the only ones that made any actual progress?
![]()
Lots of progress during the past year on easing restrictions on power production from coal.
Yeah, things are headed in the "right" direction in America.
There are places where it was necessary even as natural gas is beginning to
become a dominant source of energy and despite your effort to impeach our progress,
both links provided say that we are significantly reducing CO2 emissions.
Nw go back to my comment about how many of y'all on the Left
hate Trump more than you love the truth (and let's throw in Science)
so, in effect you become, what's that favored word? oh year, deniers...
It's not a Freudian slip, it was simply a typo that got past spellcheck.
Oh, we see now.
Like the Glow Ball Warming that never occurred was said to be hiding int the oceans,
now, letting a few plant provide people with heat in the winter,
is going to devastate the environment in x number of years...
Do you have any idea as to how much coal China is burning?
China is pushing and leading in solar power you dumbass.
You prefer "beliefs over science."
We are...

Trump, truth and science don’t belong in the same sentence so by default you’re wrong.

Whatabout mentality. The sign of a great leader.
China is pushing and leading in solar power you dumbass.
You morons would rather believe a handful of scientists bought and paid for by big oil rather than the overwhelming majority who realize global warming is real.

Maybe because unlike the current Administration and right wing climate change and science deniers, the majority of Americans have actually addressed causes of climate change. That’s why.

I think that Trysail is the only Global warming denier on the board.
But how do you tackle it?
From what I read, China and India are responsible for the biggest emissions over the last decades. In saying that, it's only because of their rapid industrialization that their people moved from below subsistence, to semi-decent living.
-- So if They implement measures, their population will be pushed back to below subsistence.
People from developed countries can afford the drop in quality of living, but is it fair? Since they're lower polluters than third world countries.
But how do you tackle it?
Are you a terminally equivocating wimp?
You tackle it by leading, not following. You tackle it by setting a good example, not a cynical example. You tackle it by joining with others who are setting a good example.

Until the world develops a new energy source, and gets it into general distribution, heavy industrialized nations will continue to pollute.
Right now, America is heading in the wrong direction with regard to incentives.

More deflection....you love science, tell us more about how gender is just a social construct!!!![]()

Sure, more ascription!![]()

There is a huge opportunity right now to replace a significant amount of polluting energy with non-polluting energy and with energy conservation. Government can play a big role by putting incentives in place to do just that, as opposed to putting incentives in place to pollute.
Right now, America is heading in the wrong direction with regard to incentives.
