Cabin Fever (Closed)

Ryan finished eating his bite of food. "Well, when the weather is nice I go out on walks in the woods. I've got Satellite TV and a pretty extensive collection of DVDs and Blu-Rays as well as a some books. So, I pretty much just hang out."

She smiled at him and cocked her head to the side a little bit. "No friends or other family?" She asked as she finished her meal "Or a pet? You look like the kind of guy who likes big dogs I could see you have a pitbull or a big ass dog" She grinned.

Ryan shook his head, "No... I don't really like dogs... If I got a pet I think I'd get a cat..." Then he continued to eat.

She chuckled 'a cat? now that is something id love to see, no man I have ever met liked cats" she grinned.

"I do," said Ryan, "I've had some bad experiences with dogs..."

She nodded "Enough said that I can relate I almost fell off an Elephant when I was ten from a circus ever since then never again" She said softly.

Ryan deiced not to press it any further... Soon Dinner was finished and Ryan was cleaning up... "So what would you like to do tonight, Sam? Watch TV, Watch a movie, sit in front of the fire with some hot chocolate?"

She smiled "hot chocolate sounds good on a very cold night like tonight" She said and shivered a bit just the thought of the cold gave her a chill against her back.

Ryan smiled, "Very good... Go ahead and make yourself comfortable... The fireplace is gas so just press the red button next to it and it will turn on. I'll be out in just a moment..."

She nodded and went on over kneeling down to press the button, and got back enjoying the warmth, looking outside his window she saw it snowing a bit harder, she hated winter with a passion, she never liked severe cold like it could get sometimes.

Ryan smiled as he finished cleaning up. He loaded the dishwasher and and made a couple of mugs of hot chocolate with mini marshmallows. As he walked into the living room he turned the radio on and put on some soft music. He walked over to the couch and handed Sam a mug before he sat next to her, "Here you are..."

She smiled at him and took it "Thanks" She said with a rather soft smile to her face, she was happy to have this moment with him. "Mmm this is really good" he said with a big grin on her face, she was really happy about everything that was going on. "Well if I am stuck in the middle of no where I am glad its here"

Ryan smiled...Ryan smiled at Sam's comment, "Thank you..." He was starting to feel feelings that he hadn't had since his wife passed away and it made him feel good. He knew that she would want him to move on, but he didn't know if he should with Sam... He sat down next to her and looked at the fire, unsure if he should put his arm around her.

She sipped the coca and closed her eyes feeling the warmth of the fire, it felt amazing to feel such warmth and peace. She was happy in that moment perhaps this was meant to be and really she did not know what would happen here, which was kinda funny to her.

Ryan smiled as Sam closed her eyes. Just then a nice slow song came on the radio. He looked down at her, "Sam... Would you like to dance?"

She smiled "Okay" she put the cup down "Though I should do it bare foot I have two left feet" She blushed and slipped out of her sneakers.

Ryan stood and put his hand on her hips because Ryan didn't know how close he should hold her. They started to sway back and forth with the music. "Your not half bad..." he said with a smile.

She blushed a little bit and could not help but chuckle a little bit. It was nice though "Thanks your not so bad yourself" She said and closed her eyes enjoying the music, resting her head on his chest enjoying it.

Ryan smiled as Sam out her head on his chest. They danced for several more minutes... "Well... I don't know about you but I'm ready for bed..."

She nodded a little bit "okay, have a good night Ryan" She said with a soft look and put her mug in the sink and went to the room she would be staying in.

Ryan turned off the fireplace and followed her upstairs when they got to her room, he said, "You too... If you need anything, my room is right next door." He gave her a peck on the cheek, "Good night..." Then he walked to his room.

She smiled "night and thanks" She shut the door and laid on the bed sighing softly it felt really nice to have a comfortable bed under her.

That night, Ryan's dreams were filled with him and Sam having hot passionate sex. He was a little depressed the next morning when he saw his bed empty. He got up and put on a pair of of blue sweatpants and a University of Michigan T-Shirt. He slipped his slippers and headed downstairs, he carefully opened Sam's door and saw her asleep. He smiled and carefully closed the door. Then, He went downstairs and started to make breakfast.

She got to sleep quickly and was just glad and right now? it was just nice to be able to take moments like this, she woke up about thirty minutes after he did, getting up she smiled a little and now everything was as it should be, sighing she was truly happy. "Morning" She said she had no idea just how much snow was up.

Ryan was mixing up some pancake batter when he heard Sam's voice saying his name. He smiled when he looked at her. "Morning, Sam..." said Ryan, "Help yourself to some coffee if you like... There's half and half in the fridge and the sugar bowl is on the island here. mugs are in the cupboard over the coffee maker. Well, I've got good news and bad news... what do you want to hear first?"
