Cabin Fever (Closed)

She grabbed a mug and placed some coffee in it, she drank it black and heard what he said "Doesn't really matter, bad first I guess" She said with a weak smile on her face, it was just different and it was nice to feel the warmth from the coffee. It was incredible tasting and the warmth was welcomed.

"The bad news, is we got three feet of snow last night and more on the way. I forgot to put my SUV in the garage and now its almost buried and the telephone and internet is out so we can't communicate with the outside world. The good news, is we still have electricity, TV, heat and plenty of food and water... and each other..." Ryan then started to cook some bacon.

This whole thing surprised her it was almost to much but she just smiled a little bit, hearing everything he said. And how he added each other at the end was different, like he was happy she was going to be there for a while. "you certainly don't seem phased by this snow fall" She said with a light smile as she sat down.

Ryan started to make some pancakes. "Not really... We get big snowstorms like this every winter. You just have to stock up and ride it out..."

She smiled a little bit and could not help but smile a bit, it was nice to see how things moved and now? it was amazing. Her heart beating quickly it was different. "I guess just not use to it" She said "Mmm smells so good"

Ryan smiled, "Don't worry... the snow should be down enough for us to get out in about a month... But, who knows, if we get phone and internet back you could leave sooner possibly.

She smiled at him "I am not worried about that, just worried about someone calling me in to missing persons" She chuckled a bit. And sat back sipping her coffee, looking outside it looked colder and white.

"Well, I'm sure that's going to happen when they find your car at the bottom of the mountain..." Ryan flipped the pancakes.

She looked at him "And you look and sound so happy about that" She said kinda curious as to what was going on in his head.

"Well, I'm kind of happy about it," said Ryan, as he took the pancakes off the griddle and started to make some more, "It means you can stay longer... I'm kind of getting used to you being here..."

She looked up at him and was curious "you have known me less then fifteen hours, how could you possibly like that?" She said softly and stood up. "Then again if your lonely I can see why you like the company"

"Yeah... I am kind of lonely..." Soon breakfast was ready... He got some plates and silverware out and set them on the bar. "Go ahead and eat up..."

She smiled and took a few and began to carve right into it, looking up at him she smiled. "Did you and your wife want children?"

Ryan nodded his head, "We talked about it. I would have loved to have kids with Annabelle. She would have been a wonderful mother."

She nodded "my parent wanted more children, but mom came down with ovarian cancer and had to remove them to save her life"

"That's too bad..." Soon breakfast was finished, "So... what should we do now?"

She smiled a little "No idea this is your place, you tell me"

Ryan started to clean up the kitchen, "Well... I've got an idea... But... I don't know if you'd go for it..."

She looked at him "What run outside naked and roll around in the snow?" She chuckled a little bit.

Ryan laughed,"No... It's a bit cold for that... But your close... I was thinking we could go upstairs and have sex... But... Like I said... You'd never go for that..."

She smiled at him "Get me a stiff drink and we will see" She said softly if her nerves could be relaxed then she could do it.

Ryan raised and eyebrow, "Little early for a drink isn't it? And aren't you only 19?"

She laughed a little bit "my parents always let me have a little wine on my birthdays " She said simply.

"All right..." Ryan walked to his wine cooler and took out a bottle of wine.

She smiled a little bit it was nice and now she was a bit nervous. She didn't think he would do it.
