It was crazy I think there were 25 kids all under the age of 5 and for some reason they all wanted me to play with them

Probably you fascinated them for some reason. And perhaps were younger than the other grown-ups there...?

This is my thought:

Kids are like beasts in the wild. Once they sense someone willing to play with them (weakness!), they all pounce to be part of the fun.

Of course this lasts as long as you do not act too grown up.

This is why I love air conditioning. I lived without it for about 32 years. Now that I have it, it is hardly ever turned off when I'm around.

I know there are those who love the heat even when it is uncomfortable to the rest of us.

Are any of you like that?

Yes, August 9th is indeed National Day. The airforce pilots have been practicing for the airshow...Lord, they've been buzzing overhead for a week!

It hasn't been too hot here, ironically. Just in the middle of the day when the sun is intense. I've been hearing about the heatwave in North America and my sympathy goes out to all of you over there who have the temperature changes throughout the seasons!

Sunny days are nice. It is not so nice when it is humid and muggy out. A day like today where the humidity is very low and a slight breeze in the air is very nice. Seems more people are smiling and a lot more kids jumping around.

It is so hot in England....last week it was so hot that tarmac was melting on some roads.....almost 100 degrees. Man!! I think my fan has been on almost constantly for the past two weeks!
