Thanks, you. Glad to be back. :)

Changed my handle for the usual reasons...you know, baptism by fire, went out and wandered in the desert for 40 days and 40 nights, went to hell and back, underwent reincarnation. That sort of thing.

Oh, that and I can't remember my password to that other account nor the e-mail account that it's linked to...

Welcome Back

Hi, fellow-posters,

Has anyone eaten some good Asian cuisine lately?

Had a really good bowl of Singapore Curried Noodles the other day...not too authentic, but still yummy!

SG, in the land of Suburbanasia

What land is that, SimpleGifts?

I have a sudden craving for xiao long bao, the pork dumplings with soup inside. Ahh...gotta figure out how to get some!

Where is everyone--out in the sunshine? Stop playing out there, you might get a tan! :)

Ah...siu lung bao....love it!

I'm going on a long holiday soon, passing through malaysia and australia, can't wait! Gonna stuff myself with curry and chicken rice :D

In my case, it's the land where all the Chinese-Americans fled after the great diaspora from the "Chinatown" in Washington, DC (which, really, was not that big a deal to begin with). Plus, a healthy mix of immigrants from Korea, Cambodia and Laos...

 You're going to be right over the causeway!

How do you spell jiao xia mien? It's the handmade noodles with minced pork on top and shredded cucumbers. I think it's from northern China. Good good stuff.
