Hong Kong's great at the moment. Getting a little cooler (it's down to about 27 degrees! lol) and the humidity's dropping as well, so it's actually quite bareable!

How come you've never been to HK? Is your heritage HK or China?

wow deefer, Gusty and I lived in Hong Kong for 12 years between 79-83 and 85-92 and have been living in Beijing now for the past 8 years. And yes, this is the best time of the year in Hong Kong... except for hill fires I am a Mandarin and Cantonese speaking gweilo, and Gusty is originally from Singapore where it is always 27-30 degrees C!! its a bit more nippy here in Beijing .. brrrrr.

here is a pretty mundane photo of some China Miss Universe contestants (really!!) watching a game of Chinese Chess...
