When I said Nimue was going to be first I ment that, no matter what knight posts first, I will be awakening her before any of them. So everyone feel free to post.

Palomedes present incarnation

I guess I should let everybody know the details of my guy before my first post, so here goes. He was born in Northern Sweden and named Hoju Flimpson. When he was 5 months old, his parents moved to England, upon arrival, they changed his name to Garrett. He lived there until his parents died, then left and had no home and no parents. He became a petty thief, running messages and picking pockets to keep his ribs from meeting his spine. One night he saw a man, folks just passed him by like he wasn't even there, he thought he must have something valuable so he snuck up and made a grab.

Garrett caught up with the man just before he vanished into the crowd, it was the beginning of a very long education. He is now 28, and a hardened thief of the highest caliber. Shadow and silence are his allies, light his enemy, and stealth and cunning are his tools. Over his training he has learned many things. He can disable a any security system with relative ease, and therefore has extensive knowledge of computers. He can travel through the shadows undetected, and can walk without making a sound. One misstep though, and he comes face to face with an angry guard bearing down on him with a drawn gun. For these reasons, he carries one too, although silenced. He avoids confrontation at all costs, and always prefers rendering his victims unconscious rather than killing them. For this purpose, he carries a blackjack. Also he carries a crossbow, equipped with 7 different ammuntions. One is a regualr broadhead arrow, but the others are specialized. In order to take out pesky lights while the switch for it is not near you, he has arrows fitted with a small compartment near the head of the arrow. This houses a very small EMP device that lets out the charge, frying the circuits and turning out the light. For times when he wants to make his way through a locked door quickly, he has small incendiary device attached to the head that creates an explosion upon impact. When crossing tile or metal floors, it is easy to hear him, so he has an arrow with a cloth folded up into a small bundle attached to the shaft. This allows him to move without making any sounds, as if he were on carpet. When too many guards stand in an area to take out one at a time, his gas arrows do the job, they create a small cloud of knockout gas on impact, knocking out any guards in the cloud. For climbing purposes, he has rope arrows, these can be shot into earth or wooden materials and stick, or trapped against stone like a grappling hook. Lastly is a noisemaker that is pretty much self explanatory, it makes noise on impact to distract guards. He also has stun grenades, explosive mines, and gas mines, and for breaking into rooms, a great set of lockpicks.

I don't exactly want to be last. You should probably save that for the npc knights, I just didn't want to be first is all. I like a little character development before plot.

Modern name is Randall Parks and please dont call him Randy. His nickname is PoolCue because that is the weapon he favors in a bar fight of which he is usually into.

A truck driver, he is very tall and beefy. He stands 6' 4" tall and is very muscular though you can see the beer belly forming at his waist. Some mistake this as a sign of sagging and many have injured their hands trying to hit what they think is his soft spot only to discover his body is pretty hard.

His beer belly is aptly named. He cant pass up a drink or a pretty lady. He has some success with women, especially in bars where they are drunk enough not to take offense at his come on lines and macho attitude. Outside of that, though, women would slap him for his chauvanistic approach-if they could reach his face.

His dress consists of cowboy everything. Hat, boots, shirt, pants and especially a rattlesnake head belt with a HUGE belt buckle. It is the bigest belt buckle he could find and is emblazoned with the (overdone) symbol of the confederate flag.

I think it would be fun to have Gawain's son come back as a woman. I know his person now is a girl but I think I will make his "son" just the opposite of his librarian "father".

Occupation: Stripper (though she teaches self defense classes in the day time its mostly volunteer for those living in the underprivalaged areas)
Description: Red hair and green eyes, slim yet muscular, she is quick to laugh and very pretty. She is even tempered ( quite the opposite of the usual idea of a quick tempered red head) and quite the looker. (I figured with a name like "The Fair Unknown" I would have that carry over into her life now.

are we going to basically 'replay the events' of Camelot??? In other words...is my character going to fall in love with lancelot..... and marry arthur all over again????
or is there a plot twist later to be revealed?

Lancelot will be a major figure in this as he was in the old days. But all the knights are important to the story.


And Jaded....what the character does is completely up to you. Because we are dealing with a mixture of your 21st century persona and your Arthurian personna anything can happen.

My guess is that the 21st century person wouldnt take the crap that her counterpart put up with no way no how. But I am assuming there would still be feelings there for all of you from the past.

Its up to each of you how you play out those feelings mixed with your present feelings.

Gaheris

His brother is a woman and his nephew is a stipper. Gaheris has much to adjust to once he wakes up. Then again it could get interesting.

Robert DiFalco is a negotiator with the NYC Police Force. He is one of the best. When you have a tought situation, call DiFalco.

He is not overly handsome, tall or outgoing but when he speaks in these situations, there is a quality to his voice that commands attention.

He is single. He just broke up with his girlfriend Wendy who did not like him getting into such dangerous situations and went on to more stable pastures.

Attention Everyone:

I am going to be emailing those who have not yet posted and see what is keeping some of our knights. I have the spots for the others filled and the descriptions will be up soon.


MEANWHILE...for those who have posted...I am going to be doing and 'initial waking' meaning that something is going to happen to each of you to bring forth the spirits of the knights without them interfering with your 21st century person.

You may react as you wish to the 'initial awakening' but it is simply ment to get the attention of the knight inside you and make them aware of their surroundings.

The real awakening...or as I say in Nemue's thread...melding of characters will not happen until Merlin shows up.

Which means you guys can do more of that great interacting and story building you have been doing so far.

I have just been thrown into single motherhood again with two children under the age of five and have moved yet again. Trying to get settled in, find a job and someone to care for the rugrats is cutting into my posting...as well as trying to deal with the fallout from a bad relationship.

I appreciate each and every one of you and am going to be working on the Camelot thread today.
