Damnit now I have a craving for McVitties...and sausage rolls...and English candy...and cereal...and ice cream.

I'm not sure how that last one got in there but it did, so I'm gonna go and get some.
Muah ha ha ha! *evil maniacal laughter*
My plan to fatten you up is working!

Now I just have to figure out why I'm pretending to fatten you up...

Eh, that old woman's reasoning in Hansel and Gretel never hurt anyone.
Oh wait. She died. Damn.

*giggle*
BWAH!!!
I think I just woke my neighbors up with my laughing. :D
Oh well.
(It is fantasmic. I have sexy dreams about it. Er...)

Pop Tarts rule.
I have to say though, Trom, that the more you mention Top Ramen the less fond I am of it.
Rather barfy, actually.

Oh, I don't need help fattening myself up. :p Done a pretty good job of that the last few years.

I'm also not a huge fan of Ramen, but if I had a dime for every time I saw someone with Ramen or a cup-of-noodles at school well, I wouldn't need to be going to college would I?

Top Ramen? Brand name obviously, but of what?
Noodles, noodles, and more noodles all dried out in one small package.....

It's noodles and broth that come in little packages or Styrofoam cups. Just add hot water and you've got yourself an instant meal.

In a series of recent conversations with Grace I have learned that she has NEVER heard of Captain Crunch or even worse Captain Crunch with Crunch Berries.

Blasphemy!!!

Now I am not sure if it's cuz she never really goes to the grocery store and doesn't know that it exsists or that it's not available in the UK.

So......

Tell me, what does the rest of the world NOT have that the US has or visa versa, food wise.

Just curious.

Life can be lived without Captain Crunch, for krissakes!

Many parts of the rest of the world do NOT have;

Endemic diabetes from excess sugar consumption

Salmonella poisoning from factory chickens and their eggs

Reduced immunity to various bacterial invasions because of excessive sterility

Likewise athsma.

But Stella, we have all those things and DON'T have Captain Crunch :( I feel deprived now.

No, hang on. That's depraved.
'S all good!

I STILL live on Pop-Tarts. It's the breakfast lunch dinner and snack of choice for college students...well, right next to Top Ramen.

Frozen perogies by the bag... mmmmm...

we dont have jiff peanut butter here and tesco near me stopped carrying my niracle whip bloody bastards *grmmffph* And its true the cocoa puffs aren't quite the same. even the damn energizer bunny belongs to duracell here. :D Then again the states doesn't have marmite and thats now a breakfast favorite on toast. pudding packets arent quite the same either. So I will order some from an international stockist every now and again. Nothing is quite the same in banana puddign as vanilla wafers and instant vanilla pudding.

Oh and whoever it was that wanted the digestives...jungle jims in cincinnati ohio stocks all kinds of digestives and english foods. Lovely lovely place. You could get lost for hours and hours going down the international aisles there. Course you might not be anywhere near there but I hear hes starting to open more stores.
