Laughing my butt off with the 2 of you.

What a day it has been, I managed to go grocery shopping and even stay within the budget, more than the State Senate can do.

I am bracing for a new blizzard of 2004 if you believe the television news, this to shall pass.

Got most of my surplus computer hardware auctioned off at Ebay's, I have been liquidating it since November.

Now to liquidate the software, I am out of this flopped computer industry for good, I should have picked another major in college. like literotica......I mean pharmacology.

Have a safe trip to work in the AM, watch out for the black ice.

Oh man. . .wow - you didnt take too much of a hit in the industry. The Tech industry seemed to have peaked and then plummeted there for a bit.
The Blizzard is big news here - but we are also looking at record lows! brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I know some people who work in the State Congress - Budget time is such a crazy time - and people dont even EXPECT it to pass in time - it is hardly ever even close.

Sure will do your shopping, it will take a bit of work to have all the cooking done with a tight budget, cooking and baking from scratch, yes there is a dietician schedule to follow.

No junk foods......yeek.

Hey all - day at work was not bad....went by fast. It is so hard being a single parent and doing it all on your own. I have alot of trouble with my oldest and right now I just want to scream and run away. But of course I can't because they have no one else. Being a single parent and doing it all is definitely very difficult and you should be commended for the great job that you are doing!

How old is your oldest? And what is the situation?

Things will get better.......

It is for the better of the kids in the long run, remember we were kids once, sometimes I wonder if we are now big kids.

I had a long slow day bouncing from what was to be a normal yearly medical checkup with a regular MD, was I wrong, I had to have some blood work pulled for a cholesterol check and other blood lookups, then I got stuck in the ass by a nurse with a needle, seems I needed a tetnus shot, as well as hepatitis B shot and then a shot for Rabies, seems that I had dog tags once in the Navy and they wont let me forget..............that lasted for 2 hours at the office., my butt still hurts.

The Dr. gave me a script to go up to the Hospital and sign in to the admissions desk and get a complete set of lung x-rays taken, seems that when I told him I smoked 10 cigarettes a day and I wanted a cure from smoking he shown me a set of lungs from a cancer patient he once knew, he gave me a lecture that I should have listened to my body when I first picked up a cigarette, now I have signed up for a County Health Dept. Smoking cessation program and joined Nicotein Anonymous, I have a oral fixation from what the Dr. told me and the nurse at the reception desk would not stop flashing those baby blues at me.

The Doc was telling me to get 20 Lbs. on my bones, I told him maybe in the future.

Seems I go there to get healthier and their trying to kill me.

I cant win.

Silky girl it is just a phase kids go thru, things will slowly change, I used to drive my parents crazy.

My mother told me what goes around comes around.

Spring is near, it will be Easter you get to watch the kids hunt for the Easter Eggs, then you have a hopefully non rainy Memorial Day and then it is June........now I'm depressed.......arghhh.

Today is day 1 of the patch on me, RnRAttrny drive carefully to work and same for you Silky, looks to be a couple of weeks for the nicotine to leave from what I was told.

Staying where there is heat for now, the furnace is on more than off lately.

Sky - good luck with that. I am trying on the 26th...that's my target date and going to start back at the gym too so that i dont' gain the weight. Not gonna be easy but heck gonna try it. Have to for my kids and myself.

Good luck with the patch skyace! Smoking is one addiction I thankfully I never had - much more than for a little while during college and then again after law school. Thank God I was able to get out before I became addicted. It is a tough habit - but you can do it!
