what the hell is a mud cricket?
Are going to have numerous answers that occur in a political space.
My personal concern is that the suicide rate of LGBTQ-etc. individuals has increased at the same time that supposed acceptance has also increased.
This is indicative of therapists in particular refusing to treat mental conditions if it is suspected that the patient's gender dysphoria would be treated along with (most commonly) depression and schizophrenia if such treatment could be construed as illegal gender therapy.
Due to political decisions therapists who treat someone for depression and/or schizophrenia and said treatment causes the patient's gender dysphoria to diminish or disappear may be at threat for losing their license to practice.
Thus a proverbial guy-in-a-dress who comes to a therapist presenting symptoms of depression may be told "You're just fine." because the therapist doesn't want to see his career flushed down the toilet.
Parse my comment however you wish, I would like to see the growing number of and rate of suicides among these folks made a much higher priority than anyone else's political views be they left or right.
Thanks. I try to stay far far away from pseudo country crap culture so not surprising I hadn’t heard it. It’s part of the reason men are failing so badly at society. It comes from the classic song Mud Cricket by Boondock. It is a derogatory term to refer to a woman of loose morals who likes rednecks.
I am not sure if it was @aussiegeekygal or me who discovered this beautiful little ditty, but basically she's been trying to woo me with this siren song for years. It is not working, as I am classy and I like my women refined and poised.
This caught my attention. The other issue would be other women. I dont think I've seen such catty behaviour as what I've seen her. Women, who profess with their mouths to be girl positive and supportive, tear down and hurt other women for no reason other than selfishness. Territorialism is strong with women, here.
You don't have a wide blast radiusThis caught my attention.
Really? I would largely disagree. I'd say Lit is reflective of my experiences offline. The only difference here being you can either choose to not engage or hit the ignore button.
Any other opinions? I'm curious.![]()

Alas, I fear I've missed the Dave Ramsay controversy. The women we associate with all tend to get along (with the exception of Dave Ramsay quotes)

Are we talking this guy?
"The key to winning with money is to live on less than you make. Act you wage! Quit spending like you are in Congress."
I don't know which side you're on, but I think this one is pretty funny.![]()
It was a comment I made years ago about rice and beans.

"Gender" is not applicable to biology. It is a linguistic term. This is not a political statement it is a factual statement. About linguistics. Not people - which is why it cannot be political. No, this isn't some political commentary about gender. So keep your dirty little politic talk out of here. But I have some interesting thoughts going through my pretty little head. And who better to ask than you civilized folk.
People often perceive their own hardships as more difficult than those of their contemporaries. We think about our own struggles but don't consider the struggles of those around us.
I want to discuss what people perceive the struggles of their opposite/other genders to be. This is a general question, but I'd like to hear thoughts regarding a variety of subjects. I realize there are people who identify as other genders than male and female, so please feel free to include all the genders your horny little hearts desire.
Some questions to guide your thoughts:
What do you perceive other genders' biggest trial(s) to be in:
- Life
- Work
- Sex
- Lit
- Social Settings
- School
These aren't all inclusive, so expand as you like. But I think it would be interesting to see what other people perceive as the biggest challenges facing others.
I included boobs in the title for three reasons.
1. I always want to give people the opportunity to talk about boobs.
2. There is the tiniest chance someone will post their boobs here.
3. It grabs attention. Everyone loves boobs.
It is not relevant to the conversation at all. Except someone is inevitably going to list a difficulty of women to be "preoccupation with tits", to which I cannot really deny.
What say you, Lit?
Happy New Year, everybody.
"People often perceive their own hardships as more difficult than those of their contemporaries" - do you really think this is true? I think it would be a stupid thing to perceive that, at least for most people in the West. In fact, people are so problem-free in the West, it's a huge problem! This is never more apparent than watching some scowling 20-something wearing a "Fuck Capitalism!" shirt, bird-pecking away on her iPhone 28, with a 6-liter Stanley cup and you know that t-shirt cost $78 from the site run by AOC's for-profit non-profit, government subsidized NGO. "Eat the Rich"? No thanks, I ain't gettin' anywhere near your crotch - you're not the boss of me, you land-thieving capitalist bitch! (Not Political - Personal). No, this isn't some political commentary about gender. So keep your dirty little politic talk out of here.
