Honestly, he really was a boy scout. Other then that I don't know what he used or if there was any special technique to it (trial and error?). That was our 1st and only time doing it. I didn't use any kind of baby powder or anything - didn't have any problems bruising or chaffing - but I can tell you the rope was plenty snug

I am 46. Yes that is not a typo. My birthday is coming up in December. In the midst of an amicable divorce. 5'7" 155-160 lbs. Engineer, looking for a job. One must remember that the BDSM board moves at a MUCH slower pace than the other boards. Getting an answer usually takes a while longer. And yes, they are very friendly over there (especially if you are a sub).

For restraint, I strongly prefer padded leather cuffs. Braided nylon rope or even cotton can leave abrasions which I don't find pleasant. Now, marks from a belt or a crop, well...that's a different story. *grins*

I can't add much to this, but . . .

Arent there some guidelines as to how long one should be bound by rope? One or two people have mentioned that I should be mindful of the time esp. when my breasts are bound - apparently after awhile the tissue can break down???

(maybe their concern is due to the breastfeeding??)

And as far as who we are......

6'2" 250+ short dark blonde hair, blue eyes ust turned 28 on Friday, more than likely I am one of the least "experienced" people here (but I read and SEE alot in the internet ) and there are pix of me and parts of me on the Lit boards (especially Big Handome Man Experiment) for those of strong stomach and iron will.

SB, Sir ~ Got home from the visit with the accountant. Whoo Hooo this may turn out very well for me. Still a long way to go, but it is still amicable. That site on wax play is a very good one. Well, I see I've got some thread catching-up to do

Howdy all:

Wow, lot's of thread postings to go over...man, work has sucked lately...it's nice to get a break and catch up on what y'all are up to....

Anyway, about me: I'm 48 (which probably makes me the thread elder..lol), 6'1, 215, burly, long (shoulder-length) silver hair. I'm also an engineer (Kayte...come on down here...we could always use more gorgeous engineers like you!). I'm into woodworking, darts (semi-pro), and outdoors stuff.

Genealogically speaking, I'm a New Zealander who arrived here in '54. My grandfather was a carriage maker in England who decided Mr. Ford's invention was going to put him out of business in '08 so he moved the family to NZ. My mum hired the Royal College of Arms to trace the family lineage back to Guy de Stapleton, who was an aide-de-camp to William the Conqueror in 1066 (her maiden name was Stapleton-Bretherton). Interesting stuff...apparently I'm an offspring of one of Henry VIII's illegitimate kids (which, along with 69 cents, will get me a cup of coffee...LOL).
