double16in said:ok...on this weight thing...with the exception of a few Carolina Threaders (who shall remain unnamed)....most of us would like to lose a few pounds...OK...big f'ing deal...I, for one, prefer a lady to have some shape and figure...I can't stand the Kate Moss look...'nuff said
Well there are a hell of a lot of body types between say a 350+ pound person and Kate Moss! I like some curves too, but what turns me on more than anything is a fit, trim body with a nice slim waist and hmmm should I say this...ok, a really nice firm ass...
I know it's a preference thing and that is all it is, we all have something that appeals to us more. I also agree with Red it's important to love who you already are and that's been a toughy for me. Having been an athlete most of my life, I still feel I should have the body of a college athlete.
BTP: I was second-string in '75 & a bench warmer in '76.
Well seems you were in between my two cousins, one much older and the other a bit younger. They both started and the younger one started all four years and was a first round draft pick in the NFL. They are both bright guys. My older cousin graduated in Engineering in four years then NASA paid for his master's and doctorate up in New York. The younger one majored in Pre-Med.
Lots of my family went to UVA, they wanted me to go there, but at the time I played(same time as you actually) their teams weren't to the level I wanted to play at(not speaking of football at the moment) so I jumped at a scholarship to go to California. The tradition of the Virginia schools is what I find so special though and in retrospect it might have been nice to go there. My wife(yes, I'm married, but she is EXTREMELY open minded) is going to Law School starting Fall 2003 and one of the schools she's applying at is in VA. I'd enjoy going back to Virginia, my mother's family has been there since the early 1600's and there is so much family still there and memories. I hope the Cav's do good this season and this weekend, even though I worked for FSU athletics up to a few years ago...

Savage ~ Have you found an AV? You are mightly close to 100. Whoo Hooo! Can't wait to see what you pick. I have had this one since almost the beginning of time.I have looked at others, but somehow they just don't appeal to me as much as this one does. In addition, I might not recognize myself!

Right, and not being some little skinny guy, I have the fat stores to pull energy from so we can keep going...and going.
Just let me know when and where the workouts begin...hell, I hate to wake up, but that kind of excercising would give me TONS more motivation in the morning.

Well since this goes against everything known about the human body, that is an interesting statement. Too much fat is a danger in all areas, particularly anything with physical demands. This of course does not mean larger people can be athletic, of course they can, but usually the larger people that are athletic it's muscle with a small percentage of fat.
