Casting Call for When Darkness falls.

Greetings all,

Sorry about my lack of posting, but it's been a hellish work week. Tragically, next week looks to be as big a headache as this one was. Still, I look in reguarilly and I hope to do some posting this weekend to run you all around in circles


As far as having a 'plot', if I may offer a bit of a suggestion, there are several hunters/slayers out there, all with bits and pieces of information. Perhaps you could all have a 'sit down' and share information? If nothing else, it might help evolve a plan for what to do...not to mention help bring some newer hunters into the fold.

I also offered some 'loopholes' and loose ends into my organization which could be exploited not to mention there are alot of 'nobody' vampires running rogue on the streets. All of the characters I have introduced save Dracius himself, are 'splatable' ( an old RP term for kill as you wish) my only request is that if you take on one of my more notable villans, that you not just kill them off without a fight.

That help at all?

Lastly, I'm not the 'owner' of this story, I'm just an RPing fool like most of you

A sit down sounds really kool. I don't mind you guys introducing plot twists and add ons. One thing I find interesting is when others do that so the plot I have won't grow stale fast. Please feel free to add some really good twists!!

Just a heads up to let you all know that my writing is going to become very very sporadic over the next few weeks. It looks like I may have landed a new job *crosses my fingers tight* and for the next few weeks I'll most likely be orienting and getting ready to move since the place is just over an hour from where I currently live. I'll try to be on when I can.

Mantra and Screech, you're the most closely connected with my character, if you need to move her some to keep things moving in the thread please feel free to do so and I will catch up as I can.

Mystical Avalon, you are going to have to elaborate on your last post. Have you taken out all of the vampires? Did none of them attack you? Who is watching you? Are the remaining vampires just watching you feed on their buddies? Does your character have any weaknesses because sunlight doesn't bother her and neither do bullets.

They are Mantra's vampires you may have to bring it up with him, because I get the impression that in his last post, they are still active and setting the church on fire.

Sorry about the rambling. I was half a sleep when I posted that! I edited it and just let her be content with watching. As for a weakness, anything that pierces her heart of course, and sunlight will harm her if she is out in it for long periods of time. She isnt immune to any of the things that harm vampires, it just takes a little longer for them to affect her. But, by the by, I edited and hope it is better, not that I am fully awake.

I really don't care that they die, they are all splatable anyway and I can work around other posts most of the time They're just there to add spice to the storyline.

Still, I must admit that it's a touch anti-climatic to set the scene for you all only to read:
"I run in and kilt them all."

Hard to work with that.

As a side note Mystic, (and anyone else who cares) These particular vampires work for a vampire 'lord' named Austin Winterbrecht. Austin is one of three vampires made by Dracius in the area. Most of the 'little vampires' have no idea who or what Dracius is.

By my calculations, there are two left and they seperated. Pedro, the one who's calling to you, is currently by the door leading back into Father Patrick's house (the back door). There's one other lurking around somewhere...but if I told you where, it would ruin the suprise....

Of course, since everyone's converging on the church, if you or any of the others pick off the stragglers, then so be it.

Just wanted to let yall know, Lorien killed a watchdog Mantra. A nobody standing outside the church. Dont be alarmed. She was stealthy. NO big rush and attack. Just a simple here one minute gone the next. with the sirens and all, no one really heard it happen

Hey, sorry I've been gone for so long. I was hoping I could come back in with a bad guy... well I guess woman. I know that you already have a really really bad guy, but I could give him 25% of the spoils if he lets me cause alittle mess and mayham in his territory for a while.
