Casual Sex

I don't know how it is today, but back in the early 1980s sex was about as casual as it gets. For me, 1980 was particularly memorable. I was 30 years old and recently divorced (no kids) and I got more 'strange' that year than ever before or since. I found this social organization for divorcees, and it became a sort of happy hunting ground that was full of divorced women who had no interest in silly things like 'love' and 'romance' but were all too eager to spread their legs. The Pill allowed this type of environment to flourish. For me it was almost like the 'Playmate of the Month.' I was not some skilled lover boy, it was just THAT EASY to get laid if you found the right source.

On one memorable weekend in December of that year I had a 'threesome', but not the kind you might think. I had sex with one woman on Friday night, another on Saturday night and CUMpleted the trifecta with a third on Sunday. I look back on that period and think how it was a miracle that I didn't knock one of them up or catch some STD.

All of this came crashing to an end in early 1981 when I bedded one babe too many, and later that year I married her.

Casual sex went away with the Obama administration promoting gay marriage and the soon to follow meetoo movement. Then covid closed many of the good bars where you could actually meet someone. That left work as the best possibility, but that is risky. In this area TDS also plays a role. It is also possible people paired up more closely during covid. Thus, less willing to cheat on a partner. That is also true as women age. They know where their personal financial reliability is and are protecting it.

Sounds like you and I are very much 'on the same wavelength'. In my particular 'era' in the early 80s, the sudden emergence of HIV really put a chill on things. I dunno if Magic Johnson was (or is) gay, as his claim was he got it from a prostitute if I remember correctly. Before that the general assumption was that HIV was owned by the gay world, and as long as your pecker steered clear of that, you were presumably safe. Obama destroyed a lot of things, and of course, if you were to believe the TDS herd, Trump is responsible for everything from the Fall of The Roman Empire, Pearl Harbor, the sinking of the Titanic and stubbing their toes on the bedpost when they get up in the middle of the night to take a leak.
